The Turnigy Multistar Elite Outrunners are designed with one thing in mind - maximizing Multi-rotor performance! The new Multistar Elite motors are the new standard in Multirotor performance. Each Elite motor is built for a specific type/application allowing for further refinement and efficiency/power to be optimized.

Multistar Elite motors are more than a fancy name and new dark green color.. Built using the highest quality components from Japan bearings, N45SH magnets, .2mm laminations, 180deg oxygen free copper wire, .005g balancing, perfect wind laid down and 100% QC, and then the design of each motor are also evaluated for their type application and everything from their mounting, to the prop type adapters are taken into consideration. The Elite motors are truly works of art

The Elite 2204~2300kv is a precision little gem of a motor designed for the mini range of multi-rotors and optimized for a 5inch prop, perfect for those tighter frames where 5inch props is the maximum. The 2204 has a removable/replaceable knurled prop shaft for those occasional crashes, lol.. And is available in CW/CCW flavors with matching bullet hardware. The lower motor frame is chamfered for easy fitment on tighter frames and has plenty of height for mounting hardware to winding clearance.

Multistar Elite is unmatched in quality and value, and the performance speaks for its self.

The Motors are well built, if you have luck.
I purchased 4 and two had a darker color and had quite strong vibrations. The other two were perfectly smooth and run very cool.
The Windings are very good, but the bearing seem to fail after a pretty short time.
After around 30 Flights they are already making typical noises of bearing failure and i am sure the won't last long.

Very good powerful motors. You can buy 4 of these then replace the prop adaptors but the CCW prop adaptors don't fit top ell on the motor but the FPV quad still is flying perfectly with no problems. I used 12 12amp ESC's and a 3s 2200mah zippy battery. My flight time is a good 6 minutes in which I was using all the functions on my RC transmitter. The speed of these motors are very fast and even on a self-level mode you still go very far.

Been using these for about 6 months, they handle 5045 triblades bullnose on 4S like a charm. I feel like the bearings had wear a little, but I think is normal after so many dozens of packs flown.

Not a bad motor for this price, seems to get hot fairly easily.

1 out of 4 already dead (burned) after 15 hours flight time. Used on a 3s setup with 5030 propellers. When they run they are really good and very efficient but unfortunately they don't last very long. So my advice: Don't buy them.

I ran my quadcopter straight into the street at about a 45 degree angle and the motor still works! It must have been going around 70mph on impact.

These Multistar Elite 2204 motors are quite good. Ive had them for over a year now, and am very pleased. Right out of the package the motor bell was well balanced, and no addition of tape would reduce the already minimal vibrations the motors had. They have experienced a little wetness and a lot of hard crashes, theyve outlived 2 frames and are on their third, albeit not CF frames, and are still running well. The bearings are not showing signs of rust yet, and have only now begun to sound like they may have dirt in them or be failing, but the bell is not loose. I would estimate they have over 20 hours of actual run time on them.
I fly a 250 size quad on 3s For the first few months it was 5030 and 5040 gemfan props, then I moved to 6030 gemfan props(larger frame). Both run well with a 12A ESC, and nothing would get too hot after hard flights, just some warmth in the ESCs. The prop/power data displayed on the HK website seems pretty accurate from my experiments. I recommend these motors, however you should buy the ones with the different CW & CCW prop adapters if you prefer using the prop spinners. I used M5 lock nuts for holding the props on after crashing twice from self-loosening nuts on the CW motors.

These are great motors but I do not recommend their spinners. They fall off really easily. I bought nylon nuts (locking nuts) to use instead. The motors are outstanding though.
