    The Turnigy Multistar Elite Outrunners are designed with one thing in mind - maximizing Multi-rotor performance! The new Multistar Elite motors are the new standard in Multirotor performance. Each Elite motor is built for a specific type/application allowing for further refinement and efficiency/power to be optimized.

    Multistar Elite motors are more than a fancy name and new dark green color. Built using the highest quality components from Japan bearings, N45SH magnets, .2mm laminations, 180deg oxygen free copper wire, .005g balancing, perfect wind laid down and 100% QC, and then the design of each motor is also evaluated for their type application and everything from their mounting, to the prop type adapters are taken into consideration. The Elite motors are truly works of art

    The Elite 2204~2300kv is a precision little gem of a motor designed for the mini range of multi-rotors and optimized for a 5inch prop, perfect for those tighter frames where 5inch props is the maximum. The 2204 has a removable/replaceable knurled prop shaft for those occasional crashes, lol.. And is available in CW/CCW flavors with matching bullet hardware. The lower motor frame is chamfered for easy fitment on tighter frames and has plenty of height for mounting hardware to winding clearance.

    Just very good motors. Not the best, but enough to fly in pleasure. I would recommend them to my friends. I am pleased with the purchase especially considering that I bought them very cheaply at the sale.

    Awesome value for Durable hardware

    As a new pilot to quads I'm going to break things in some epic crashes. I've only managed to destroy one of these motors vs. five KingKongs with roughly equal flight time - and honestly still trying to spin in wet sand would destroy any motor. The separate threaded shaft is a small annoyance with it's odd sized allen head screws - the upside is that the motors are not fixed in direction but can be switched.

    PROS:
    1. Great "work horse" motor. Not the best performance, but a great value.
    2. More durable than cobra motors. In similar (and worse) crashes I have not bent a shaft with these motors.

    CONS:
    1. No mounting screws included
    2. CW/CCW threads are a pain. In the pack I received, I got 1 CW and 3 CCW. Mounting the CCW engine in a CW rotation would result in the prop nut would spinning off. Also being a CCW thread the standard M5 lock nut wouldn't work as a replacement. The local hardware stores don't sell CCW threaded lock nuts, so this meant I had to purchase a replacement shaft kit (an extra $4 plus shipping). The green color of the replacement shafts didn't match the green of the motor bells if that matters to you.

    SUMMARY:
    I would sum these motors up as a good "work horse" motor for a 250 sized quad for 3S (I have yet to try pushing them with a 4S setup). They're neither the most expensive nor the best performance motor. They do have immaculately laid windings, however its not as much of a performance boost as you might think. For me they have their place since I can try maneuvers I normally wouldn't feel comfortable doing with more expensive motors/setups.
