Look no further for the ultimate in durability and power in mini quad motors. The new Multistar Elite 2306 2150KV MINI MONSTER is here

The Elite 2306~2150kv is dubbed the MINI MONSTER, producing nearly 1000g of thrust on a 6inch prop and 4s (each). The Monster is like no other mini motor on the market it was built around a 4mm main shaft… that’s correct 4mm, and massive 11mm EZO japan bearings! The thicker bell added efficiency and durability. The single wire wound stator can deal with the high amps and heat much better the multi-strand. The replaceable 5mm prop adapter increases its survivability in a hard hitting crash. The Mini Monster with the 4mm main shaft with 11mm bearings, thick bell, single wire wound makes this the most durable MINI quad motor around.

Multistar Elite motors are more than a fancy name and new dark green color.. Built using the highest quality components from Japan bearings, N45SH magnets, .2mm laminations, 180deg oxygen free copper wire, .005g balancing, perfect wind laid down and 100% QC, and then the design of each motor are also evaluated for their type application and everything from their mounting, to the prop type adapters are taken into consideration. The Elite motors are truly works of art

Pretty, Silent, pretty silent!

Apr 18, 2018

First what a bargain... don't see that often.
Second, these are well made with good bearings. Unlike others that came with at least one bodged bearing. Maybe in shipping? Odd.
Bought them to revive a Trifecta and mod a 450 heli with direct drive tail rotor, hence the whole set sees use.
They seem to provide enough power on 3S and 6050 prop to punch nicely a trifecta with a dead 2.2A battery.
I guess it will shoot out like a canon ball on 4s.
But I'm a chill flyer, not much freestyle or racing.
Cons: not very well balanced. I will balance them dynamically.

Wow

Picked these up whilst on sale for 7.12 and bought x2 packs. Absolutely great motors for 5inch builds when trying to get good torque/punch at the expense of top speed. Good freestyle motor for heavier quads.

Still to be determined

Nov 20, 2016

Out of the box one of the motors had a piece of metal inside the bell which caused the motor to be locked up. Then I tried to mount to a Eachine Falcon 180 frame and found when I tightened down the motors they would not spin as the retaining ring on the motor shaft protrudes out enough that it rubs on the frame. I'm going to pick up some small washers tomorrow to see if I can shim up the motor so the clip doesn't contact the frame. Overall the build looks like good quality.

Nice but not perfect - and 9mm bearings

Nov 19, 2016

Have these fittied on a 280 with FVT 20A_S esc and they are pretty smooth and perform well in flight, they do vibrate out of the box more than i thought they would given the claims. Build quality is good, some of the windings are a bit 'loopy' and i had to order some new bolts to attach the rotor hubs as the hole for the allen key was not properly formed on a couple of them, i'm being picky but I have not had this before with any other bolt. Regarding the rotor hubs, when i use DAL 5045 props and standard nyloc nuts the thread is barely long enough to bite in the locking part of the nut.
My biggest issue with these is that the specs say 11mm bearings, but it doesn't mention they actually have 11mm bearings at the bottom and 9mm bearings at the top, and i have had 2 of these fail already. In a motor that is so powerful it could rip itself apart and given that there is room in the housing why not put 11mm at both ends?

Got these motors for my latest 250 racer build. They seem nice thus far. One motor was not threaded at the base. I had to tap it. The other 3 were fine. Im using the diatone carbon 250 frame and had to bore out the mounting holes so the shaft clips would clear. Havent tried them on 4s yet but I will. Overall impression is QC was a bit weak on this set but lack of threads on 1 isnt a deal breaker. The thrust G rating is what made me decide on these over the scorpions

Great Quality Product, , , Wish it came with one more of each bolt. Or at the least a list of each bolt size so i can reorder after they fall out . Also would like to see soder tabs for the wires. those winding wires are thin and easy to break.

Great motors with awesome power! Really nice size and plenty of power from a sturdy design. There are two things I'd like to see improvements in, though, the first being the end of the windings which hang down on the underside of the motor: Tuck those in, will you? Secondly, the price is way off. Get real. But overall, awesome power.

These motors put a big smile on my face everytime I fly them! I equipped my 2nd RoboCat270 also now with these motors. First runs on 3s, 2nd on 4s. I love these motors, they have the punch you want, they are robust, they dont ask, they simply pull through. There is significantly more power than from any 2204/5. Biggest punch is on 6045 bi-blades with some 5 G's (!) vertical acc of my 735gr Robo on 4s1800! If I had some, they probably would easily drive triblades of the same size also. But not at 20Amps max anymore, hehe. I only have 5045 DAL V2. But, just sweet! Great combo!

These motors run phantastic on 3s with 6045 props. There is absolutely power when you need it. On 4s they become a beast using the same props. Scaling down to 5045 triblades helps taming the power but increase much the "free-fly-effekt" because of their smaller resulting surface compared to the 6ers.

Temperature: even on 4s with 6045 they do not get warm at all, temperature management resp efficiency is obviously very good.

MultiStar, please keep producing these motors!

Be careful with the Motor-Mount Screws (big ones on the right Side of the last Picture)!!!!!!

They don't have the same size, 3 out of 8 Screws were longer and because I didn't realize it (mounted 2 Motors before and the Screws for them fitted perfect), I have a broken Motor now...
