The Elite 3508 268kv Has been optimized for 8s operation and a 12~14inch propeller. The Motor comes with removable/replaceable knurled prop shaft and direct bolt style propeller mounting options. This sub 10A hover can allow the use of high density low discharge batteries. The increased capacity vs weight will increase flight time. Flights over 1 hour are possible with special batteries such as the Panasonic 18650 or GEB cells.

I bought these on a fire sale for $18 and they are phenomenal for that price! They are smooth, well finished and well balanced. Not perfectly balanced but very good for their price range. My biggest complaint is the length of wire they come with. They have these super short wire coming out of them. And for my setup I wanted my esc's inboard and needed to extend their wires. The hobby king video shows them as having super long wires and that is just not the case.Very good motors. Stiff and solid. Good bearings. Used on my quad 3.6 Kg with 8S and 15x5.5 drain is 11.8 amps hoveing.
Well done motors.very good quality motorsthese are a beast on 8s!I bought 4 of these for my quad, a sky hero 1000. The dimensions on here are WRONG. The sky hero takes a 35mm motor. The dimensions on here say 28mm in the product config and 35x8mm in the description. These things are 42mm so are useless to me. $200 down the drain. If I want a refund then I have to PAY to return them and pay a restocking fee!!!Running with 6s and 15x5.5 props makes copter sluggish especiallt if its quadcopter. Its like doesnt want to fly and says "dont touch me i dont want to fly" If you designing your system as quad with 6s dont choose this motors or use 8s with 14x5.5 props. These motors very efficient at 8s.Having 6 of these on the Tarot 680PRO with retract and use Afro 20A HV with 1355 Carbon Fiber Propelers, I get 24-28 minutes of flight with ZIPPY Compact 5800mAh 8S. For now, I am satisfied, the motors are not much warm, even esc-and not much warm.Great motors! Very well balanced and nice big bearings. I have an X4 configuration, weighs 2.4kg, 1255 carbon props and a 4Ah 8s battery pack. I get 26 minutes of flight time (not only hover, real flight) and engines stay cool after that. I will upgrade to 13 or 14 inch props, 12 inch is too small.Running 6 of these with a Tarot 680. 12000MAH 6S GEB Cells getting around 50 minutes with 1555 propsGreat motors, very well manufactured, quality bearings and well balanced.
