The Turnigy Multistar outrunners are designed with one thing in mind - maximizing Multi-rotor performance! They feature high-end 42SH magnets, high quality bearings, High Pole counts for less noise, smooth responsive power and increased efficiency. They have custom motor mounting and all are precision balanced for smooth running. These motors are engineered specifically for multi-rotor use and are not based on airplane motors.

The 5008-330KV MultiStar is almost too nice to fly! The workmanship and detail in this motor is at a whole new level. It’s fitted with shimmed and pre-loaded quality bearings and high grade silicon wires. The motor is supplied with 2 prop mounting options; A direct bolt T-style 12mm hole to hole spacing, as well as a 4mm shaft for collet hub style propellers.

I have a set of these on my fun quad. AUW is 3250 with a 10000mah 6s. I ran the calculation on ecalc and it said 30.8 minutes to consume 85%. I actually flew to 33 minutes to get to 85%. I think the internal resistance is much less than advertised. Im flying on the batwing looking 15x5.5 props. It flies nice and esc/motors/wires run ice cold. 15 amps on hover.
The best part is that according to the calcs they make the power to run a 20,000mah.
I have a stockpile of good brand motors and for sadly this one has put all to shame. Now im wondering if the smaller elite motors also put out.

Bought 4 of these motors and installed them tarot folding 1555 props on a HMF U580 frame. I use a 10,000mad 6S battery and get 33 minutes of hover time. These motors are the best I have ever used.

This motors have great japan bearings EZO. I have that motors with dji 1760 props in tarot x6 ;)

Great heavy lifter motors I use the with DJI F850 1550 props on 6s lipo 10000mAh and get 32 min of hover and 26 min of flight weight is 3.86 kg.
I like them well build motors

Very good motor, as it is from the Elite series. It is very good balanced and with hight torque vs weight (178 gr with the leads - 600 mm). It has dual bearings with very high quality and the bearings are MADE IN JAPAN. These motors are the best choice for heavy lifters - Tarot T960 for example. But if install it on Tarot T960, you have to drill 4 new holes - 7 mm away. There are no screws to attach the motor to the motor mounts on the multirotor system - there are only two screws for T-type propeller. Recommended props are 18 x 5.5 T-Type carbon propellers. As overall - there is no other motor with this capabilities at this price. It is better than the Tarot 5008 340 kv motors.
