Awesome motors. These are really strong motors and they look good too! I have ran my quad into tree's going at least 80mph and they still perform like new. I'm new to this hobby so it's hard for me to control this much power. But for you vets, these are perfect! Thanks HobbyKing!I switched out my Emax 2204 Motors and installed these Motors. They are 2grms lighter than the Emax. They are very smooth running and they are definitely more powerful. I am using them on a ImmersionRC Vortex Chassis fitted with a Naze32 flashed with Cleanflight. Speed controllers are DYS SN20's fashed with BLHeli. No Oneshot.
Props are 6040 King Kong cut down to 5040. Lipo is Multistar 4s 1400mah 40-80C. I used to get problems with Yaw drifting but these Motors have cured that. The quality is very good and the red anodized finish is very nice. They do run a little warmer than the Emax but not hot.Very pleased with these and i would recommend them.
