We have achieved our goal by drastically increasing the battery capacity (mAh) while lowering the discharge rate. This results in a battery which is still capable of providing sufficient current (Amps) while offering much higher capacity when compared to a standard 20C+ LiPoly battery of the same weight.

What this all means is that Multistar batteries are able to provide flight times much longer than standard LiPoly battery packs without adding any weight to your multi-rotor model, making them absolutely ideal for use with aerial video and FPV multi-rotor aircraft.

This battery is absolutely amazing. I've been using this for around six months, and I couldn't be happier. I've previously had other branded batteries before, and these outperform those brands. The lower c rating is perfect for multicopters as they still produce enough amps without getting hot and they weigh less than other higher c rated batteries with the same capacity. After about 30 flights I have seen no puffing or loss of power or capacity, and the quality of them is great. I had no issues with them or defects. I run 2 of them in parallel on an s500 quad weighing around 1.8 kg. The pack weight is 250Gg which is amazing for the capacity. I would highly recommend these batteries, and I will be buying more in the future.

great batteries

I use the battery on my 450 tricopter and 450 quadchopter with lights. 2212 980 motors. 14 minutes fly time running normal and about 11 minutes running hard. with the kk2 board over 60 flights. No problem with low battery light coming on early. Would I use it on large muticopter like a 900. No. They require a higher c rate. Some might say the battery is junk. Do not blame the battery. It might be the person that put it on something that needed a higher c rate. If a muticopter calls for a 30c battery you might not want to use a 10c battery on it. These are great batteries for my 450 tri and quadchopter and smaller muticopters. Used them all summer. And they are still doing a very good job. That's my review after a summer of flying muticopters.

Useless for Multicopters. 10C is not enough discharge. Tried it on my S500 and get a low voltage alarm under load few minutes into the flight. Not worth the purchase.
Also, my previous rating was deleted by Hobbyking. So much for criticism....
