Based in the huge success of the original MultiStar 1400mah 3s and 4s packs we are proud to bring you the next level in Multistar race packs, the "Gold Spec". This series of packs deliver higher C rates and give your rig more punch out making them a winning pack for FPV racing die-hards!
These little FPV machines crave for a bit better run time and high C demands that the high kV motors can pull. 1500mAh is too big and heavy and 1300mah leaves some flights a little short winded. The Multistar 1400 Race Spec 3S battery is the winning ticket.
With 1400mah of capacity and 65-130C discharge ability, your mini racer will feel like it’s on race fuel! The best feature is the size and weight, all this power in a frame friendly form factor, even smaller than some 1300mAh packs!
The Race Spec also comes with the new XT60 connector capable of delivering 60A constant and bursting past when needed.
The New Race Spec 1400mAh high C Battery by Multistar, get your goggles on and start racing!

I can't imagine any other batteries of the same type performing as well at such a light weight. The only thing that remains to be seen is how many cycles I can get out of them.
On my Emax Nighthawk 200 frame with QAV 2206 2200kv motors, ZTW 18amp micro ESC, Runcam Owl Plus, and 200mw vtx with OSD I get about 6-7 minutes of hover and restraint or 3-4 minutes of full throttle punch out madness.
I think punchier batteries that last longer are available, but not in this weight and price range.
Recommended.Great pack for racing session. Many power and good flying time for this 1400mah capacity.have got 5 of them now on my 250 race quad and they work great i recommend getting this, balanced and light. big plus is the cables coming out from the middle of the pack keeping them away from my props.batteries work very well get between 10-12 min of flight per charge, and batteries are light wieghtThese hold voltage very well right up until they are exhausted and your quad falls out of the sky.. Set your low voltage cutoff .1V or so higher. The outer heat shrink seems to be a bit thin and will pull off pretty easy in a crash. put Velcro on both sides and use multiple straps to secure the battery to your quad.. we have 4-5 guys at our field using these and are all seeing the same issues.. and there are 3-4 naked batteries flying between all of us..Bada$$ batteries. The high discharge rate on the pair of these that I bought really wake up a brushless setup. These batteries will allow your motor/esc combo to be all that they can be. If you're wanting to squeeze more performance from your brushless setup, then look no further, these will do the trick for you. P.S. despite the listed size these DO NOT fit into a Traxxas MERV chassis battery compartment (bummer) they are a little too snug to shut the doors.Loads of power with this battery for my 300 size quad pulling up to 50 amps.. will buy moreGreat batteries for my 250 fpv quad. All came well balanced and very good C rate - no bogging :).I recommend these. ByeI have used many Hobby King lipos over the past years..... These are light, have a nice punch, and haven't noticed any sag or loss of power until low batt. Need to do more testing but so far I am happy with the performance.
Using it in a 250 size drone and getting about 4 mins.
