Now that I have a working product i'm impressed good and works really well. While you can do everything by their manual I really suggest using Mission Planner and doing a full set up.. and getting yourself a telemtry set.

If it had WORKED I'd have said it was great, I mean the unit's well built and everything is there.. It should be ready to fly except that I constantly got a 'Bad Compass Error' from the APM in MP and had issues arming. HK rather than simply replace the GPS and Compass decided no you have to send the entire unit back.. 40$ extra (because they don't cover warranty postage) I am 546AU down no drone and waiting to see if they FIX the issue that should have never been there in the first place. The response when I ask why I need to send back an ENTIRE unit for 1 component 'we can't tell if its really broken' Despite a Youtube video showing them the exact issue clearly. Go figure. Had it worked out of the box and proper I'd have 5 Crowned it across the board.

Awesome quad, installed a 3dr telemetry system hooked up to my Samsung S6 via the otg cable, installed tower and all worked. I can change flight modes, add way points etc etc

OK,
So I ordered 3 of these for me and my club mates. One arrived basically dead out of the box. All the flight controller setting were all over the place, but luckily one of our group was a bit computer geek and enjoyed flying racing quads, so spent about a week playing with all the settings and managed to finally get the thing airborne.
The second had a motor fault straight out of the box, so that was sent back about 10 minutes after receiving it (which is now being replaced under warranty - but there are none in stock!)
The third seems to actually work as it should, although it does take about 15 seconds to bind every time you plug it in.
It's a good job everything now comes with a 12 month free returns warranty. Be prepared to use it!

Great little quadcopter for the price. Nice that I can use Mission Planner with it also. As long as the compass is calibrated, this quad is great for beginners.

Much better than the old nova, the engines are more powerful and balanced, contributing to improved stability. The autonomy reaches about 22-23 minutes

totaler schrott, die apm ist eine 2.8 aber keine originale ! ein billig china clon. dieser vergisst meine compass einstellungen was zu folge hat das gps funktionen nicht funktionieren. laut hobbyking sollte ich es f?r 30? zur?ck schicken. sorry hobbyking geht gar nicht.

Hi,
I also received it in less than 5 days! It flies very well but GPS hold and altitude hold doesn't does anything to the drone during flight, do you have a solution to this issue?
I am also not able to connect it to Mission Planner after trying it with four different computers to check if GPS and barometer are well working. Can you make a tutorial dedicated to your quanum nova pro?
