PROPDRIVE v2 motors are designed to perform right out of the box with tight windings, smooth bearings, correctly rated magnets, precision cut stator and balanced rotors.

We design and build the PROPDRIVE v2 motors completely in-house allowing us to control every aspect of production. We control the entire production line from material sourcing to machining, balancing and final assembly. PROPDRIVE motors can be trusted to provide years of reliable service at a price every modeler can afford.

We have included a collet style adapter, as well as a bolt on prop adapter.

All performance figures are the result of realistic testing on our own motor dynos.

the V2 seems to be a step up from the old NTMs that often suffered from poor bearings. In this particular 1000kv 3542mm motor, they have crammed a serious amount of copper in the available space. Have only run it on the desk, but it seems very decent. Recommended.

Install it in my Multiplex Mentor. With 12x6 propeller, 70A Mystery ESC and 4S 3700Ah battery I have take off from 2 meters and unlimited vertical without to much heating anything. I'm satisfied.

Tested on a Mentor plane: first measurements: using a 13*6 E propeller and a 3S 4500Mah Lipo > 45A 520W showed on a HK-010 power analyser.
It should be enough for this plane. I will do a fly test tomorrow.
I always balance my propellers when i receive them, i don't have vibrations.

What would you expect from a $22 motor? Well, I might have expected too much. It look good, it is powerful and you get it with all accessories you need.
However, when you put it to full throttle it vibrates, terribly.
I've put it on my Acromaster with a 4S and a 12X6 APC prop and with throttle at about half way it just started roaring and shaking.
I switched to a 3S pack and tried again. At about 80% it just broke the nose off the Acromaster.
