I am using an NTM 50-60 380kv motor as a replacement for the original motor on my FW-190. On a 6S, 40c, 4000mah battery fully charged I tested this with a Turnigy 3 blade 17x8 prop. It produced 8 kilos of thrust at 1880 Watts and 82 amps. I also tested a 16x8 3 bladed Master Airscrew at 7 Kilos, 74 amps and 1700 watts. Either one is pretty respectable. I am using this in my 1700mm Focke Wulf HK plane because the original prop broke and it is impossible to find a 3 bladed prop large enough to load up the low KV original motor. This should scoot the FW along very well. I have not flown it yet. I have had problems with 50-50 580kv motors magnets coming loose, but this motor and the last 50-50 580kv I bought have a cage added to the back of the rotor to help hold the magnets in. I don't anticipate that being a problem any more.

Mine arrive today and I have run it static for about 10mins on 6s and 150A RotorStar opto ESC. Between half and two thirds throttle with 15 x 6 prop. Smooth and powerful so far. Appears to have a ring glue in to stop magnets sliding, I can't see the ends of the magnets and it seems well made and assembled. That 8mmm shaft looks so strong. A little more time will tell. If it stays together it may deserve 5 stars all round. I will update with a few flights completed in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

I bought this motor and installed it in an Aeroworks Bravata running a Turnigy Plush 100 Amp ESC and 6S 5000 mah battery with an 18.5X8 prop. In the first minute of testing with the prop on, a magnet came loose. I opened the motor up and glued the magnet. Test-ran again and another 3 magnets came loose within two minutes of testing. When the magnets come loose, they slide backwards on the can and then start to scrape against the motor's back-plate, creating a scraping sound (the can is rotating but the backplate is stationary). There are other comments about magnets coming lose on this motor here at this product's page. There are also some comments of people very happy and not losing magnets. I believe that quality control at the factory is not sufficiently good, and the motors are not being assembled in a consistent way. Some come out good, some not so good.
