Bought to power my Phoenix 2000 after the NTM 28-36 1000kv i had before burned, and also destroyed my ESC.
What a difference : far lower consummation and barely warm even after lot of solicitation, could be perfect choice if only it was lighter.

Very powerful on 3 or 4 cells. With a 10-6 APC but poor balance with no prop. I checked the prop hub for out of round and it seems fairly true. I see no indication that any balancing was done as you usually see some blue stuff inside the motor on the Turnigy line. FYI, I got a max 1800 gm thrust at 25 amp on 4 cells and 1300 at 18 amps in 3 cells. This was crude test with the motor taped to a digital scale and a pusher configuration. I don't understand why they make these things with the shaft out the back. Seems like it was meant for something else. Mine came in a plastic bag with no box or label. Same for the prop mount. Next time I need a cheap motor, I'll go with the Turnigy stuff as I think they are balanced better.

I bought this for an f550, im using 30 amp afro esc, naza v2, and slow fly Carbon mixed 10x4.5 props, with a 5200 4s multistar lipo, it can handle 10 minutes of mixed flying, and about 8 with a gopro and tarot gimbal, motors and esc cold on landing, i'm not sure if stock dji motors come down as cool as this do, i went ahead and put a larger gimbal and a black magic pocket, it handled 5 minutes "on a 5000 20c 4s zippy (flying 2 minutes with the multistar lipo was just insane, as the battery came down boiling)" amazing considering its overall 4 kg weigh.

I'd have to say it is great, except for a Very big issue which is, e-rings tend to loosen the shaft, luckily it hasn't made a mess, but you can see like 5mm of the bell coming out, so watch out

Fine motor but the motor shaft is too small. Engine bearings are good but the shaft is loose in the bearings. Assembled new axle from Dualsky and it fit perfectly in the bearings. Now the engine is good and goes silent._____Fin motor men motoraxeln r fr liten, ls inne i lagret. Provade en axel frn Dyalsky motorn och den passade perfekt i lagrena p NTM motorn. Monterade i axeln och nu gr motorn tyst.

A good motor, but beware that the mount and prop adapter are not included. Really wish they were.
