Want to use your favorite DSM2/DSMX compatible transmitter with your open source flight sim? This is the tool to let you do just that.

The Orange Rx DSMX/DSM2 Compatible USB Dongle is really just a receiver that binds with your transmitter and interfaces with your computer. All you need to do is to allow the pre-loaded HID driver to install onto your PC, laptop (Mac users will need to download the relevant HID drivers) and bind your transmitter to the dongle in the same way as you would a receiver.

There's never been a simpler way to use your transmitter as the controller for a flight simulator!

Features:
• Compatible with DSM2/DSMX 1024/2048 aircraft radio and module systems
• 6 channel output to standard USB HID device
• Compatible with all open source simulators (Freerider, HotProps, Liftoff, DRL etc) and many others.
• Small in size
• Low power requirements (typically 40mA)

Specs:
Protocol: DSM2/DSMX Compatible
Current: 40mA
Dimensions: 52.5 x 23.5 x 10.5mm

For me this dongle have worked really well, no problems at all with my v5 Deviation TXs in several computors. I recommend it. Would have liked a more slimed down casing for it, but not a big thing.

I use it with my Futaba 7CAP 35MHz converted to 2.4 GHz with an orange dsm2/dsmx module. Works great with the freeware Picasim. It is the best investment I ever made for a flight simulator. Thank you Hobbyking.

I use it with Aerofly on Windows 10 and my old DX6i. All 6ch work great! Seriously impressed how easy it is to use. Highly recommended!

Works great with my iMac running High Sierra and Liftoff simulator. No problems binding to my DX8G2.

Bound immediately to my DX6i. Not compatible with Phoenix (the wired dongle works, but not this one). Aerofly (for Apple OSX) recognizes the connector, but does nothing. It does not recognize any stick movement when calibrating. I'm sure this is a problem with Aerofly (at least the OSX version that I spent $39 on) and not the receiver. Don't know about other sims. So, I wasted $14 on this because it's not compatible with my sims, but was worth a shot. Seems others have success with other sims.

Works great with my Spektrum dx6e and the 3 simulators (liftoff, rotor rush and fpv freerider) that I've tried so far. And half the price vs the spektrum one.

Great for Liftoff. I can now use my DX6 instead of the Realflight Interlink elite.

Have not been able to use flight simulators (Liftoff & Freerider) to date. Have a Devo 7e and MacBook Pro. This dongle has been the solution. Binds easily with TX on DSM2 (not DSMX at present). Simulators work really well. Great value for money. Oh ... and the delivery was excellent.
