I use this in my Taranis D9X and it works perfectly, just don't forget to screw in the antenna before you use it.

OK mostly but has problems

Mar 06, 2019

I've just moved from Spektrum to a Taranis 9D and with the module it works OK with my Spektrum AR610 rx and with 6 channel Orange rx's in auto mode. I did have to modify the channels order on all my models to be compatible with the use of the module though.
I've had a lot of problems getting it to work with a HH BNF Blade helicopter which is compatible with DSMX. I have to force it into DSM2 using the manual set up. It doesn't like DSMX at all on the Blade. The SAFE functions on the Blade will not work at all with this module whichever way I set it up in the TX.

Good but has problems

This works great with orange rx receivers but no throttle on any of the recent Horizon Hobby UMX planes or Blade NanoQx that have As3x or SAFE on them.

Works fine except with UMX

Jan 31, 2017

Works as expected - no problems with OrangeRX Rx and most of Spektrum DSM2/DSMX Rx.
But cannot be used with HH UMX Models (with Ar6xxxx) - no response on throttle !? Ail, Elev, Rud are working as expected, but no throttle ..
Does anyone know a solution for this?
Note: a first generation ORx JR Module does the job as expected, so this is only a issue of the new generation module

Great Tx DSMX/DSM2 module. Works great in my JR XP8103 and my new Turnigy 9XR-Pro. Binds with Orange and Spektrum receivers with ease. Binds with DSMX and DSM2 receivers and Satellites. No complaints with this module.

Not fit for TGY9X without modifications. Square hole around pins on case back is too small for 9X (9X have tall plastic pins support around metal pins). I'am cut a lot of plastic frome case to make it fit into place. I'am also have 9XR and this module fit into it without any modifications (9XR have longer pins without any plastic support).
