The P-40 Warhawk saw action in many theatres in WW2, including the Mediterranean, North Africa and the Pacific where it was used as both a fighter and more successfully as a ground attack aircraft. Most famously, the P-40 was used by the Chinese Flying Tiger squadron flown by US pilots, the success of this squadron against the Japanese airforce in China, even against the feared Zero, made them household names around the world.

This P-40 Warhawk is simply huge for a foam model! Being EPO, it is as tough as you would expect but at the same time, the moulded detailing is simply amazing. Despite it's size, this Warhawk should be easy to transport with it's removable 1pc wing and removable tailplane. The plastic moulded part details, like the very scale exhaust stubs, 3 blade prop/spinner, bomb cradle, .50 Cal machine guns, cockpit detail just go on and on and make for a stunning scale model.

This version serve's as both a "crash kit" just in case and as a basic airframe for those wanting to use their own equipment. The electric twist and turn retract/gear door assembly's and tailwheel assembly are included, as is the gear door/retract sequencer. You also get the scale prop/spinner and a shaft adapter. This is a reasonably involved assembly for a foamie and it will be important to choose your power train and RC equipment carefully, done properly, the end result as an impressive looking and superb flying scale warbird.

airplane is a great Kit! arrived in great condition. Used Hitec HS-81MG in mine and the NTM 270kv motor and prop shaft! I couldn't be happier with the outcome!

The airplane arrived in perfect condition. This is the Kit version so you will need most of the electronics. Foam mold of the airplane was flawles. Plane is a great kit and Recommend the NTM 270kv motor to use for it. Keep in mind modifications will need to be done. Instructions straight foward, but could use a little more detail. Paint job was very well done. Retracts were V1 but do not intend to use them and use a different brand. All in all is a good buy.

This is a real Warbird. a- The operation of gear is erratic. b- The alerons, flaps and others horns get loose before the first flight. c- The foan is not strong enough nor resilient. d- .......... z- I'm looking for an match box. I never had problems to asembly and fly foamies from multiplex, besides the price diference they are cheaper.
