Description

This 1600mm wingspan glider takes 15 minutes to assemble and lasts a lifetime! The wings and tail are made from tough EPO foam. However, the fuselage is made from a really strong blow molded nylon skin with plywood formers, making it almost indestructible. Usually reserved for baby toys*. The virtually indestructible fuselage is smooth and rigid yet still light enough for the glider to perform. Both the main wing and tail are screwed into place and the two wing halves have a carbon fiber rod for added strength. The main wing includes 1 servo per aileron for strong control surface movement plus there is a pre-molded slot so you can add your own flaps later. All 4 9g servos, speed controller and brushless outrunner are included. Just add your own receiver and battery to be flight ready! This really is a super strong glider that takes 15 minutes to put together.

*Having a blow molded fuselage on a glider is an excellent solution however it is not popular amongst manufacturers due to its high cost, effectively doubling molding costs.

Ottimo aeromodello con volo lento e rilassante, lascia desiderare il motore che dura poco in quanto si surriscalda si consiglia HK di farlo maggiorare dalla ditta produttrice!!

three members of our club have just got this model and ALL three have had the motor burn out one on the first flight the other two with in 6 > 10 flights and all use the model for souring not hot dogging the spec say 2215 1050 kv but the motor supplied is a 2212 1400kv which in my beliefe will not carry the load of the 3s and the 10.5 x 7" pitch prop we will be making a claim for the motors

The glider comes nice and securely packed. Building it is a breeze. Reinforced nicely on elevator and rudder surfaces. I've crashed it on mud on pavement, on trees, on a powerline and on a my mailbox. Still flies like a champ. Replace the motor and esc before you fly.

Generally delighted with the end result after addressing some minor issues. Mine was supplied with a 1400kv motor, not suited to the 10X6 prop. My fix was to use 9x5 blades from a Flyzone Calypso. Now with the a 3s 1500 Lipo up front and the C of G moved back 8mm, it's great! Oh and I removed the 45gm weight from under the battery tray as well.
Some other issues. Spinner needs balancing (must do), build manual is next to useless. lots of screws left over and still one 20mm x 3mm short. ESC brake needs to be turned on- no instructions.
However, in spite of these minor things, great value and nice flying model. Good for a beginner with some assistance from an accomplished pilot. Warm liner it is not. Climbs well and thermals well in the right hands.

Following the sad demise of my walrus (which was my favourite so far) this plastic/ply-bodied bird seemed slower responding, at first. Using a 1500mAh 30C 3s battery and flysky i6b rx, everything else box-standard, it had no trouble vertical climbing and floats fine over tree-line airwaves and bitumen thermals. Within the first few flights the motor became reluctant to start, spluttering until about half throttle then firing up. A few flights later and after an energetic fang around there was a nasty roast-wire smell and the motor refused to run. Probs have been fine if I'd stuck to 2s but sometimes you need some stick to chase a magpie or race the parrots. Have now received the Turnigy 2217 16turn 1050kv donk and YEP 40A 2-6s ESC. Just the motor first, as I plan to chuck a 4s in and see if the original esc cooks.
So, yeah, same experience as everyone else. Bad motor, great plane. Have bought a kit version as well now.

My PNP model was delivered with motor mounting screws 8mm long crushing motor windings - M3 x 5mm should be substituted whether the motor is to be replaced or not. Otherwise the motor problems described in other reviews will be repeated.
I will disregard the English instructions during assembly as they need a rewrite to be usefu

Very, very nice 1600mm glider for the price. Shipping & package were excellent. But bad motor in my PNP version that burnt out on 3rd flight. (smoke came out of the motor). Make sure you order the spare motor from the website together. Well balanced, and easy to fly. I used 3-S 1500mhA lipo battery that gave me plenty of power and over 15 minutes climbing and gliding. Lots of room for bigger battery. This is a keeper.

what excellent value this glider is...highly recomend, easy to hand launch, and land...however...asshared here, the motor is a peice of crap...just order the turnigy ts 2217 16 turn shown in the other items customers bought with this..that one change over makes this an awesome plane on 3s...even with the extra cost of upgrade still good value for the money..can not wait to try it slope soaring too. oh and put some ventilation holes front and rear and use plastic spoons as vent covers, they look cool and work a treat
