Doing up the nut to hold the prop can easily break the threaded part away from the base. The internal motor shaft hole is drilled too deeply and leaves only a tiny circle of aluminium as a weak point.

I have a F22 Pusher Jet that has a prop slot - and not really enough room for a traditional spinner to fit in there (try taking the prop off in that narrow slot!) So this adapter works perfect. I shortened the bolt length, and whalah! A perfect way to hold the prop (and it doesn't come loose, even though the motor is spinning to loosen it.)
