Short shaft on bolt on prop adaptor

I purchased a couple these to put on a VMAR Do 335 due to the power and the simple fact the motor mount fits the holes on the motor boards. I am planning to run them at around max 33 amps on 3s with a 3 blade 9x7 Masterairscrew. However, am finding that shaft is short and with the 7/16 prop hub thickness the retention nut is just fitting without any threads extending out. I am going to swap the washer for a thin steel washer to help that but even at that here is no room to add a spinner.

Prop drive motor 28-36 /1200

These motors are well priced and well made.
However using the prop drive from the small three hole end does not take larger sized props very well as the bolts shear off.
Driving from the shaft end is OK but prone to shaft damage in a head on crash. Fine if you fly safely.

Two out of 4 dead out of box

I really want to like these motors. They seem extremely well built with great magnets. However, 1 burned up an esc while calibrating and the second smoked itself within 4 seconds of running without props. It’s hard to find quality motors in this size and these seem no different than any other cheap Chinese motor, unfortunately. Everything seems like quality except for the windings.
