Like classic looking airplanes yet want something sporty and fun? Look no further than our PT-17 biplane. Modeled to look like a Super Stearman, which was a stock PT-17 trainer biplane that added a fully enclosed cowl, and ailerons on the top and bottom wings.
Our sport scale model follows the outline of a PT-17 with subtle changes to make it a fantastic sport model. The airframe is all built up balsa and plywood construction covered in brightly colored plastic film that will stand out at the field and up in the air. Accessing the flight battery and tail servos is easy through a removable top hatch in the fuselage. A pre-painted fiberglass cowl rounds out the model nicely.
Coming as an Almost-Ready-to-Fly model, all you need to do is complete the final assembly, install your motor and other electronics. A couple easy evenings of work and you'll be out flying the PT-17.
