Introducing the Glue-N-Go series of foamboard kits. Easy to fly, easy to assemble, and exceptional value!
This fantastic Mig 29 is not only fast, it's a stack of fun. Made from colorfully foamboard, it has been laser cut for precision assembly and for a great scale outline look in the air.
Supplied with carbon fiber reinforcing, metal push rods and a plastic motor mount, all it needs is some servos, a motor, esc, your receiver and a 3S pack and it will be perfect for those flying days when you just want to tear a hole in the sky.

Building is a piece of cake, the only thing that I did different to the instructions was to glue only the rear part of the two main horizontal wing sections together, this is because you need to insert the vertical body (cockpit) at a later stage. Other than that, easy peasy.
Model flew very well on the maiden (I've uploaded a video), flies well at low speed and can pick up the pace when required. In the air it looks a lot bigger than it actually is; with a sleek profile this model looks great.Impressive model very accurately cut from the best foam I've ever come across. (what is it? where can we buy it? it bears no resemblance to HK's foamboard)
Models flies well but is rather a triumph of thrust over drag. The performance was much improved by gluing and rounding a balsa section along the leading edges and widening the slot to take a 7 inch propeller.
Had to fit elevon hinges after one detached in flight, but great fun to fly. Very aerobatic and does the "snake bite" just like the real thing.great value for lots of fungreat winter hackawsome i can use all my lipos on this from 1000mah to 2200mah and it flies wellthis plane is a blast w/ the 1950 fun fighter motor, 2 tgs 9g servos, turnigy plush 40a esc, a 4 S 1350 battery and a 6x 5 prop. also tried a yellow stabilised rx that works well too!
flies fast and slow well. carry a little power all the way to landing or elevons become ineffective. best 24 bucks ive spent in along time! no heating of esc or motor on 4s but get a 65 or 70 c pack as my 70c pack does warm up a little. also this is not your typical depron or foam board it is much tougher. tape over your live hinges on the elevons. Now that i have finally built this kit, i thought it'd be a good time to review.
I usually work with depron sheets so this foam board was a new challenge. It's nicely cut and all pieces fit together very well. I'm running mine on a 2200kv motor on 4s with a 5x5 prop. The plastic motor mount provided help with this setup as it grips to the foam board tightly. I've added rudders and ailerons that help a lot with acrobatic flight and flat spins etc. The only part that is a negative with this kit is the paint to control surfaces - You'll have to remove the painted areas where you tape your surfaces or they'll easily come off as the paint separates from the foam board a little too easily. Apart from that, it's a decent kit and saved me cutting out from scratch - i'm getting old i think! If you've built before, this will be a simple build. If not, some common sense and caution must be applied.Looks great and flies well.
The hinge cuts on the elevons were too deep and caused one of them to separate in flight. Thankfully I managed to recover the aircraft with no major damage. Reinforced the hinges with tape and it now performs as expected.
