The Q Brain provides the perfect power solution for your quadcopter by incorporating 4 x 25A ESCs into one single unit. This keeps the wiring very tidy and allows you to mount this unit in the middle of the frame instead of having to mount an ESC on each arm.

With adjustable low-voltage protection, startup mode and motor timing, the Q Brain is not short on programming features. This and its ability to operate on 2~4S lipoly or 5~12 cells Ni-XX makes it a very versatile ESC.

The Q Brain keeps things simple by having all of the motor leads pre-installed and terminated with 3.5mm bullet connectors. There are 4 x signal leads (one with power) that will plug directly into your flight controller's ESC output ports. A throttle hub is also included for use in applications requiring the use of a shared throttle signal.

Well, Item arrived fast dimensions was not really correct. I'm glad its smaller then given dimensions:

Height:133mm
With: 560mm not including capacitors: with them 693mm
Length: 630mm

that black top with logo actually is a heat sink I'd recommend it gets allot of air.
Well quality isn't top notch, soldering points of 4 wires going to motor was cold join't.
battery lead had overflow solder cap that was touching metal heat sink good thing i didn't power it up! take few minutes to inspect before first start! flying quality is good easy calibration soft start responsive for my uses. does get a bit hot or warm depends how you call it after 15min of flying esc was 55c. oh and by the way it does not fit in x525 or x666 quad frame if you want to sandwich it with quad arm's had to cut square tubes 1cm and re drill the holes so middle is bit bigger after that modification it fits and wires can be rauted trough tubes.

for sure will but again ;)

Had this on a 450 quad before installing it in an S500 where its been ever since. No problems at all with cooling gliches etc. I'm about to order another to flash bellheli on it.

Terry, it is common for this type of component to come without a connector, as there are so many out there, and the end user can simply solder on the connector of his/her choice. Far more versatile this way.

I've added an XT60, as that's what all my batteries are (I started with a Nova), and just spun up my Quanum XJ470 with this board, and it seems to work great! After a few minutes of the maiden flight, she wasn't even all that warm, but we'll see what changes when I start flying with a payload (camera, etc.)
