The Q450 is a well thought out 450mm quad frame built from quality materials. The main frame is glass fiber while the arms are constructed from ultra durable polyamide nylon.
Assembly is a breeze with pre-threaded brass sleeves for all of the frame bolts, so no lock-nuts are required. It utilizes one size of bolt for the entire build, making the hardware very easy to keep in order and only requiring one size of hex wrench to assemble.
A great feature of this frame is the large mounting tabs at the front and rear of the main frame bottom plate for mounting cameras or other accessories. This makes for a great way to take aerial video or fly FPV without the need to add any additional mounting brackets.
The Q450 also features colored arms (2 white and 2 red) which are great for orientation. It helps to keep you flying the right direction without the need for different colored props.
We offer a full line of multi-rotor electronics such as multi-rotor control board, ESC & motors. It has never been easier or more affordable to get a quad in the air!

Avoid! Really quite fragile!! I've broken two frames already with - in my opinion - pretty gently impacts. I cant even call them crashes as It was a controlled decent the last time.
It's a Firefly frame - the hex heads aren't 2mm so you'll likely end up buying new screws too - one leg was slightly twisted.
All in all - please don't kid yourself that "surely it will be ok" - it won't. Buy something a bit more robust...great frame for my first quad, good solid glass fiber and the plates also very rigid, iam sure it can take a hard landing!Amazing frame ! Light and very durable ! My quad setup :
- Q450 frame
- turnigy D2830-11 with 10x4.5 prop
- Afro ESC 30Amp Multi-rotor Motor Speed Controller
- kk2.0 with 1.6 firmware
- Turnigy 5000mAh 3S 25C Lipo Pack
- FrSky V8FR-II 2.4 Ghz 8CH receiver (HV)
- 1.2 Ghz 800 mW tx video with low pass filter and cloverleaf antenna
- 1/3-inch sony CCD video camera (PAL)
- HobbyKing E-OSD
- 850 mAh turnigy battery for FPV set up
The quad is 1,4 kg and the thrust of each motor is about 1.0 kg so It has plenty of power. The flight time is about 17 min, without FPV setup 20 min.Frame muito resistente, facil de montar, recomendo.
Very sturdy frame, easy to assemble, highly recommend.Perfect for a newbie and semi ProfessionalYou can't beat the price, quality seems excellent although slightly heavy.Mid size.. Not too big..Einfacher zusammen bau auch ohne anleitung die schrauben sollte man austauschen da kein imbusschlssel sorichtig passt.
for the price its even worth buying another one just to use as spare parts.
really stiff and great mounting possibilities for kk2 and gopro.Nice build frame, but the srews are soft so dont overtighten!
