A good charger with ups and downs

I bought the charger together with the parallel charging boards and after using the parallel boards I realized that I didn't need such a charger. Anyway, it is a good charger at the hobbyist's house and at the airfield.
Some observations about this charger:
1. You have to buy separately 3 JST XH adapters plus banana plugs to be able to connect 4 lipos on each port. The kit contains only 1 jstxh adapter
2. It has a cooling fan that works all the time and makes noise, so it is not good to use the charger in the bedroom at night if you want to sleep. After the warranty period has passed, I will install a switch to stop the fan when the charger is not full loaded
3. I used a 240w main psu unit and first the power source must be turned on and then the charger must be connected so that the low voltage error does not appear
4. The discharge rate is quite low, 5W on each port. Discharging a 2200mA lipo from the fully charged level to the storage level will take approximately 3 hours. ((will discharge this battery with a maximum rate of 0.3A even if you select a higher rate this will be the maximum for this battery)). It's ok if you're not in a hurry.
5. There is no manual charging option for nicd and nimh batteries, even though the manual says that there is a manual option, also at the end of the process, you can NOT see charged or discharged electric capacities of the battery at each cyclic
process.
HK mentioned after a discussion that these options were on an older version of the charger and that on the new version they were removed this options for security reasons. Another buyer specifies on the forum that it is not possible to return to the old software version to benefit from this options. Anyway, you can live without these options
6. IR test meter. I measured a lipo battery on each port and each time I got different results with big differences.
I don't know if it's ok like that
7. The buttons are a bit hard and cramped and located a little lower than the case and if you have thicker fingers they are a bit uncomfortable to use
8.The software has some glitchs. When you will use you will notice certain inconsistencies, like pressing enter and you notice decreasing the amperage and others which are difficult to explain. But they can be overlooked
9. I charged some older lipo batteries and the charging process had to be stopped manually, because the charger did not stop automatically. Although the batteries did not absorb current, the charging process did not end automatically.
This did not happen with the new batteries. Finally, the old ones returned after a few charge and discharge cycles

Great charger easy to use. One slight down fall is the charging ports do not line up with the displays. After some use this is a non issue.

Garbage

This charger is garbage. I used a 10amp 12V PSU and get "Input Voltage Error" on every port, just trying to balance charge a 3S 2200mah battery that is mostly full. Tried another PSU with the same result. Returning it. Took Hobby King 22 days to give this to the courier and another 43 days to ship this from Australia to NZ !!! Don't buy from this crowd unless you are in no hurry to receive the product.

I'm very happy about this charger.
It's able to charge lipo, Life,LiIon,pb, nmh battery, with or without balancer!
It works very fine. Five stars!!!
