After adding a mushroom antenna, the signal range and quality is equal to or better than high-end FPV gear. Paired with a $25, 200mW camera/transmitter/antenna (ECH-478923, hobbytown.com) and a small 2s battery this is easily the best FPV setup for any entry to intermediate level RC enthusiast. FPV adds a whole new level of fun to any RC hobby- cars, boats, planes, drones... great price, great fun!Fantastic first FPV google set. Just as good a picture and signal as high end gear. Don't waste your money grab these for now! Well worth it! I added a mushroom circular Polarised antenna to my quad and these googles. Range is impressive with a 600mW transmitter I have yet to reach max range - It's well beyond 250m open field that's for sure. Chickened out going further, but no loss of picture at that range in the slightest. I wish it looked cooler and had the option to record footage from goggles but for the price it's fantastic. When I ordered these, I didn't expect much. I just hoped they were good enough to get me started. I was very pleasantly surprised! They work much better than some other more expensive goggles I have seen feed from.
They're certainly not sexy. They double as birth control because they repel women, but for the price, they cannot be beat!
As awkward as they look, they're reasonably comfortable. I intend to upgrade soon, but if you are looking for your first FPV goggles and are on a budget, these work quite well. You can't beat these things for the price I was really surprised how good they are !You can't beat these things for the price I was really surprised how good they are !just received my goggles love them I wear glasses there wide so I can use my glasses or put the extra lens in can see fine with out the glasses love themjust received my goggles love them I wear glasses there wide so I can use my glasses or put the extra lens in can see fine with out the glasses love themA best buy! Great price and good quality for may first FPV gear.
Very good googles for the price they are. The only minus is you cannot manually select your channel but there's a firmware modification that you can do for that.I waited quiet a long time before buying a FPV equipment. Last but not least the price was so attractive, that I could not say no. I am wearing glasses and they fit under the goggle, that helps me a lot. The goggle itself is easy to operate, well there are no "special functions". Working great so far. I now had my first experiences, in the mean time with arkbird in my plane, headtracker on the goggle so fully equipped. :-) A friend who bought a much more expensive goggle >300 bucks now says, if he had known what picture that cheap thing brings out, he would have fallen an other decision. This gogle is big, so if you have to wear glasses, it is a good decision. You cannot go wrong with this price. Be sure to spend some bucks for a mushroom antenna cause all the pin antennas are not good reagrding the range. My one is feed by 2S LiFe battery that fits into the holder. You can use a 2S LiPo as well.
I am satisfied with my goggle so far, next one will have diversity receiver tough.
If you look forward to start with FPV, just go on with this one. It is a good bang for the bucks.
