This frame looks great. But it's weak and breaks very easily. I bought two.... both are now trash. Pretty disappointed with my purchase, enough so that I have come back here to write this review warning others.

This frame has potential... but the design is such that cutouts in the base plate mean that the front arms are only attached by a couple of mm2 of material. The top plate only attaches to the front arms by one screw.

If you plan on using your quad purely for photography at minimal risk of crashing, then this frame will make it look badass.

Great design. Good fit. Sadly you can't buy spare spacers, only screws. Original LED strips are not dense enough. only got 3 LEDs. It's not full carbon laminat. Inside it has glass fiber. only on top, and bottom there is carbon fiber. Big mistake is week nose section, because two forearms are hanging only on few milimeters of plate, which is main reason of destruction. You need to add your own carbon structure or something. Laminat is 1,2 mm thick, which would be great, if it was full carbon, now it's a bit weak. After all I think, that's more for the look, but it isn't bad product.

Generally a nice frame, but probably not suitable for fpv-racing. It cant even take a slow fall on grass, without breaking and shearing off screws.
Cannot recommend.

Although this in very nice looking frame but its design is poor. I would even go as far as to claim that frame is made weak with intention! If you look at lower frame - notice that front of it is connected to whole frame with just two weak and thin carbon lines. I can not find other reason than intention to make this frame break for this poor design. Obviously - after crash front simply broke off.. And.. there are no spare parts available for this frame...

After destroying one frame in a very nasty crash ( both front arm came off ) I decided to buy 2 frames and double up all of the plates. It's nice and thick now it adds some weight to it but it is not dramatic it also makes it twice as expensive ofcource. I already put it nose first in to the ground a few times with pieces of propeller flying in all directions and one broken fpv antenna as a result but the frame is holding up nicely now, it never would have survived those crashes with just 1 bottom plate, Hobbyking should make a version off this kit with plates that are twice as thick as this one , beside that it is a great frame to fly and it looks really great in the air.

After reading stories about how weak this frame is i still ordered one as it looks fantastic, i have been flying it now for over a month and had my first big crash with it today (lost orientation) 20-25 metre freefall and hit the ground nose first at 45 degrees. im delighted to say that it survived with minimal damage. the battery tray screws have bent slightly and that is all.

Would recomend this to everybody, Everybody needs a neon 250 at least once.


However i would not advise this frame for close proximity racing (woods, abandoned building etc etc) only because it is highly likely that this frame will break in hardcore racing and crashing circumstances.

for the FUN Factor it is good !! but if starting out? might be disappointed? not in a bad way? but it is a little geared if you been flying a little bit? this out of the way if your skills are good to Novice not a bad FRAME! this is one of my "Personal Favorates" now with the Superior CC3D Controller it has a Somewhat "Predictable Feel" and I use it for my FPV racing and just having fun thing, the I highly recommend NOT getting the KK-Mini board! of 3 we tried it did not like this "Frame"???? and the KK bigger one will NOT FIT it "Can" but probably not how 99.999999pcnt would like to fit, get the
"Superior NAZE or CC3D boards" and "SMALL" 12a ESC's ,I now have 3 and there my "GO TO" ones for just fun fly !! but starting out? this may not be for you? but good to have for when you feel more confident in skills !!
