The Quanum Observer is a purpose designed FPV/Camera plane with a host of neat features that make this model one of the best in its class.
For toughness and reliability, the model features a blow moulded fuselage which utilizes Nylon and is virtually indestructable. The flying surfaces are all made from tough EPO foam.

From point of view of practicality, the two piece wings require no glue for assembly, everything simply screws together. The outer canopy is purely for looks though unclips in seconds to reveal a camera ready platform, complete with a pan/tilt servo mounting hole that has been pre-moulded. This large hatch cover is secured by a quick release latch and once removed, reveals a huge cockpit area for mounting batteries and FPV equipment onto the pre-fitted ply plate.

All servos, the motor & ESC come pre-installed and optional flaps can be added easily by installing your own 9g servos and hardware.

The whole Observer airframe can be assembled and ready for flight in about an hour, with auxillary equipment taking slightly longer. Multiple mounting options in the Observer for cameras, flat mount on the aft fuselage, and even a flat underside of the forward fuselage means the utmost in flexibility for a variety of tasks.

There is no doubt that this is a superbly designed, high quality FPV model at an excellent price. The flat mounting platform on the aft fuselage allows you to separate your FPV transmitter from other sensitive radio equipment like your flight receiver.

The Quanum Observer takes FPV and aerial survellance platforms to the next level with its host of mounting features, quick assembly, and rugged nature. For the every day FPV enthusiast, or for more serious aerial photography, the Quanum Observer ticks all the boxes.

Not good value. Vertical stabliser bent. Not enough screws supllied to fit tailplane. Weak prop adapter. Motor mount wobbles in frame. Flaps servos not installed. Not worth the money.

Just finished this build. Very nice model and fairly straight forward instructions.

1. Landing gear appears to come from factory slight toed in.

2. When assembling tail area, fitted plate that holds all together needs some slight trimming to fit.

Very tail heavy, flying it for test purpose, no FPV equipment on board, 5000, 4cell Zippy compact. Needed .8# of ballast in nose.

Be careful needs, long takeoff roll. Flaps will help.

All and all great FPV platform.

I received my bird today from Europe. Very well packed. All in one piece. Assembly is quick. The parts fits well together. When screwing into the fuse remember that it is soft plastic, not composite - stripping thread happens easily. The space inside is great since there is no foam wall. I mounted my down facing camera inside with a auto pilot and 8A 3S battery. Everything is great until you need to fit the prop - NO Prop adapter. It's a great looking plane but I think over priced for what you get.
