I purchased 4pcs of Q58-2s last week and have BAD experience with them. I power these TXs with a 12v regulated power pdb supply LC filter to protect the TX from voltage spikes but two of them already not working after my quad crashed. My guest is the Q58-2 electronics are very sensitive to voltage spikes.

However their Quanum Elite X40-2 have much better electronics and much more reliable than the Q58.

I am not a big fan of Hobbyking. But the transmitter is just great. I don't now if it is the antenna that comes with it or the transmitter but the connection is better than my other transmitters that have 200 and 600MW. I tested it and did not get connection lost were others lost it.
Going to order the SMA RP antenna to test it on my other transmitters.
Smal easy to setup, great connector and nice wires.
Very happy with it. Please HK get product's in stock, connect the website to your database so it is up to date, contact people as it is out of stock and don't let them just wait.
And get other shipping companies. Sorry but Bpost for an order that you ship from the Netherlands to the Netherlands with Bpost is just crazy. It takes 10 to 13 days to arrive and PostNL delivers it. Wy not ship it with PostNL so it is there in 1 tot 2 days instead of over a week. My orders from China are here in 7 to 10 days and some times even faster.
Please give more choises and improve your service because that sucks.

Great product, love the digital channel selection instead of dip switches. The coax lead instead of soldering a connector straight to the board will help save your transmitter in crashes and makes mounting so much easier. The only negative is that the camera wires come the WRONG way around. This destroyed a camera of mine, because I didn't expect the positive and negative leads to be different to standard servo wire configuration. Just something to be aware of!!! I would give this 5 stars if it wasn't for that glaring error.
