Installed on a quad frame from HK with 4 Emax 800kv motors and corresponding 30 Amp ESC with Afro software . On first take off with stock settings flipped off , very difficult to calibrate and after turning gyroscope settings down and PID settings down ( we're set too high at factory) was able to manage to fly it ; however , altitude hold mode is shoot and miss at best with huge variation no matter what the PId settings are , the GPS is useless almost . Although it indicates GPS lock , one out of 10 times it locked its place well . Could return to home but it's descent rate is very fast and no option to set it up in the vtools. 5 times it is hovering and just flips, turn off motors , turn on again and wanders for no reason at all . Beyond manual stabilize mode flying, the rest is unpredictable . So eventually took it off..goes to drawer .. Replaced with something better .

Well, I installed this on my s500 kit and the quad flew like it was almost on the verge of being out of control. GPS hold didn't work, nor did altitude hold. When I flicked the return to home the quad took off full speed vertical so before I lost it - I switch it to balance mode. Now balance mode as compared to the balance mode on the thunder QQ which came with the quad. Well the Thunder QQ Flight Controller is just awesome. This is what I have found out. I will write Hobbyking directly to see if they want this back or give credit for it. It is just very unstable for a flight controller. With this one installed I almost crashed the quad. With the Thunder QQ, it only has balance mode, but is it ever excellent. It is like it is one rails when I move the sticks. I think I will just run it and throw this fc on the shelf. Unless Hobbyking will give me a credit. This is true and exactly what I have found.

On the second use, the Power/LED blown. Nothing is responsive now.
The quality is very cheap and disappointing.
Quanum must maintain quality assurance. Will never buy this again.
