When it comes to brushless R/C boat action, it simply doesn't get any better than this!

The Quanum Relentless is the ultimate Catamaran Racing Boat offering high speed, excellent handling and killer good looks. The vibrant red paint scheme and expertly applied racing decals are sure to turn heads wherever you go!

A potent watercooled brushless power system comes pre-installed providing extreme power to the prop. The motor is an outrunner which produces massive amounts of torque. This allows the boat to get on step almost instantly upon hitting the throttle. The precision machined alloy rudder and pre-installed high torque steering servo makes for crisp steering response and keeps the boat upright during hard cornering.

The hull is constructed from lightweight yet durable ABS - this is where the Relentless differs from the others. The hull has a beautifully painted gloss finish just like fiberglass, yet it's offered at a much lower cost. The decals are applied before the final clear coat, sealing them from the elements and providing a top quality look.

This boat will be ready to run in about 10 minutes after opening the box thanks to the high level of pre-assembly. You will simply need to bolt on the rudder and propeller, connect the steering linkage, install your receiver and you're ready to go!

This is hands down the most fun, exciting and easy to setup brushless race boat we've ever had our hands on here at the HobbyKing office, we know you'll love it too!

I bought mine about a month back, and coming from the Aussie warehouse it took about 2 days from time of ordering and paying. Upon opening the box I was very impressed straight up! The high gloss finished with decals under the final gloss coat is an awesome design making the decals very well protected. The manual for the build was easy to understand and I had the boat ready to run in an hour or so. I took her down to a local man made lagoon and with a 3s 2200mah 30-40C rating I only gave it a little throttle just to make sure everything was doing what it should and it was, so I chomped down on the throttle and will a roar and a roost off she went! HOLY SMOKES BATMAN this thing was quick! I was playing around with throttle positions and to see what it was like on turns at speed and it didn't fail to impress! The boat even at full throttle turns almost 90 degrees in an instant with no sign of flipping her over. I played around until the battery went to cut off and I limped her back to the little boat ramp at the lagoon (it used to be used for a local Rc boating club but there's no sign of the club being there for quite a while now). When I opened the hatch, there was a little bit of water in the hull but the Rx is sealed in the supplied ballon and was dry. The battery, OMG I've never had a battery puff or get as hot as this one was, so hot that I couldn't hold it in my hand! Had

The only thing to remember is that this boat is disposable. There are no spare parts available, so if you break or wear anything out that is specific to this boat, you order another boat. That gets expensive.

It's a lot of fun in the water, but you'd be better off buying a more expensive boat that you could get spare parts for.

Oh and be prepared to work on the driveline before you run it. This has been a very frustrating experience.

I purchased this and the aquaholic for myself and my son. both arrived within 3 days and well before xmas thankyou HK. these are our first ever boats and i must say i am blown away the the performance and quality for the price. they both are very well presented and extremely easy to set up ready to run. first run was in local lake on a not so calm day (couldnt wait any longer for weather to clear) WOW! they just blast out of the blocks! the aquaholic is way more manouverable due to the V hull (im guessing!) we were alble to do 180s off waves and all!! but the relentless looks friggin awesome and handles the chop much better... well i thought so until i flipped her and had to strip to my undies and swim to get it. amazingly it stayed capsized for about 2 minutes with very minimal water intrusion! well done HK! - my boy is 9 and the stock prop and battery is plenty of speed - and when running on 3/4 throttle for most of the time easily achieved 10 minute plus times.. All up an amazinly cheap entrance into RC boating - i had no idea they were so much fun still water or not!

Power is awesome. Lid doesn't quite fit but a small modification makes it almost water proof. Good buy

Excellent value for money. Goes ok on 3s but go to 4s and send out that rooster tail. Blow away the name branders with your awesome HK speedster. More stable than the "Aquaholic" but a little slower but get the file out and work on your prop, go 4s and don't look back...

This is a beautiful boat, its wonderful paint job and graphics make it look expensive. It works really well, it is fast! I use a 3S Zippy 2800mAh lipo from HobbyKing which seems perfect and comes with the right (XC60) connector. Actually anything between about 2000 and 3500 mAh would be fine so you can use your existing batteries (huge batteries over 3500 would fit but might make the boat too nose heavy.) This is a very quick boat and the problem is finding water smooth enough - at high speeds it flips over easily if it hits ripples. 4S can be used but you just increase the risk of it flipping out. Overall a great boat but remember you need access to a fairly large smooth area of water.

Over all very happy with this boat . Turned up in great condition , looks awesome with nice glossy finish . Good value for money . Easy to set up . This is my first hobby grade boat and like it very much . Goes good , gets on step pretty much instantly and sparks up a lot of conversation and gets bit of an audience down at my local lake .

The only negative thing is parts for these as hobby king don't stock them ( yet ) If hobby king stock the parts for these i would give 6 out of 5 star rating/ review

Nice finish on the boat. The boat is strong even though it is a plastic hull. It is very stable even in choppy water. There is a minor difference. The Relentless is very stable, just a bit slower than the Aquaholc, but the Aquaholic is very unstable at speed, prone to flip. To me the Relentless wins. I like it, and can be run in shallow water about 12" deep. The temp for esc and motor are in the low 30c. It can be run on 4s no problems.
