Hitting the dirt track has never been easier with the all new Quanum Vandal 1/10 4WD Buggy RTR and now it comes with a radio and upgraded ESC and motor pre-installed. You simply need your own battery.

The Vandal is a tried and tested buggy that is perfect for those who just want to bash around the park but aren't afraid to get a bit of serious air time or those who are interested in getting into 4WD off-road racing but don't want to lay down the serious coin on a full blown race buggy. The Vandal will easily hold its own at most tracks.

But we wanted to make it even better so we asked our good friends at HobbyWing for a reliable and robust power system that we could include with the Vandal RTR and ARR and they gave us the WP-10BL50 with a 3250kV 12.5T sensorless motor, both of which are suitable to run on 2S or 3S and built to last. The ESC can handle a constant 50A current and an impressive 300A burst, it has an integrated cooling fan (for 2S only) and can be adjusted through the set key on the ESC or through the HobbyWing ESC Program Card (sold separately). You can adjust the running mode, drag brake force, low voltage cut-off, punch and maximum brake force. This set up gives you a calculated top speed of around 42km/h on 2S (8.4V) battery or 62km/h on 3S, more than enough for most people.

The Vandal chassis is lightweight yet rigid, offering a perfect combination of weight savings and strength. Additionally, it features a robust shaft driven 4WD system providing plenty of torque to both the front and rear wheels and virtually instantaneous acceleration. No belt drive system requiring fussy routine maintenance with this setup!  An adjustable slipper clutch protects the drivetrain and metal gear front/rear differentials.

This ready to run model includes 1/10 buggy wheels, soft compound tires for increased traction and handling, as well as a wickedly styled, pre-painted body shell. With features such as fully adjustable suspension, oil filled shocks and adjustable camber/castor, it's easy to fine tune the ride to the conditions of your favorite track or bashing spot.

If you've never met the Vandal 4WD Buggy before, now is the perfect time to get acquainted.

Well its what I was looking for. An ARR AWD buggy that still accepts standard lipo packs. Would love a more popular brand but the overall price+saddle packs aren't really for me, as I have plenty of 2s 5000mah lipos that I share with other vehicles.
This buggy does require a full once over before you run it. Out of the box it was obvious that the gear mesh was WAY too tight and would easily overheat the motor/esc or rip up the spur gear. Aside from that I did find a number of screws that were still loose and others that weren't fully tightened.
After just a couple runs (5-6) all on just 2s batteries around the front yard, I did manage to break the front bumper clean off. Simply from just jumping off the grass and over the curb. Couple rolls and I bent a shock shaft and lastly one rear tire had a blow out in the middle and the foam insert came shooting out. This was to be expected as Ive read others commenting on the cheap wheels/tires and that they would need upgrading sooner than later. So new ones are on order. But all-in-all for $99 shipped I really cant complain. The motor and ESC are waterproof so messing around out front after the rain we've had here the passed couple days has been fun. Will slowly work on getting some better shocks for the buggy as well. For now I was able to just take the one off and bend it back so its functional for now.

This is the first buggy that I've owned, and wow, it's super sweet. Came well set up out of the box (ARR), just had to adjust the gear mesh as it was a bit tight. The 2S batteries I ordered havnt arrived, so I've tested it with some 3S 2200mAh batteries from my plane. This thing is rapid on 3S. Haven't been adventurous yet, but it seems like it will hold up really well! I might buy another one for my son

Pretty darn good buggy. Got this for my 6 yo for Xmas and after a few runs he already has the hang of it. Tough all round. He has rolled it on grass more times than I can count with no damage. Fast enough on 2S to be fun, easy set up straight out of the box and we’ll put together. Only criticism is the esc fan fills up with grass and debris pretty quick and is tricky to clean. Gotta take it apart. Overall great car, good quality build at great price.

I just bought this Vandal for my first off road car. The set up was easy. I ended up getting the 3s Battery for it and wow is it fast. I can only imagine once I start to upgrade it. I have no complaints at all so far.

I own the HK Desert Fox which shares the same basic layout as the Vandal but boy what a difference in performance in favour of the Vandal! Wow and is does come with descent electronics RTR/ARR (Hobbywing WP10bl50 and 3250kv motor) plenty of power on 3s and way faster than the Desert Fox even after upgrades, and then it shreads spurs and pinions and eats drive cups in the rear. Still happy with the old Fox for looks and top speed runs but from now on the Vandal gets all the upgrades (Carbon, alu the works) and make it a top notch basher. Stock all is setup fine out of the box great suspension, wheel alignment ready to go, all screws tight and some even thread locked, good job HK! Big thumbs up
