Abbastanza deluso.

It is a very cute a and beautiful little plane. I like it despite it's flaws and having had to rebuild it. I am thinking at the moment if I should order another or not.

The tubes, which the elevator servo wires follow, are too long and offer so much resistance, that the provided servo just cannot operate the surfaces. I added a more powerful servo. It still did not solve the problem completely and due to constant wobbly flight I managed to crash the plane into tarmac - it got quite destroyed. It was not tail heavy, if you wonder.

Not really for beginners. Also it is quite fragile.

If you buy one, I recommend modifying it and adding rudder steering capability.

I received my Quicksilver yesterday and, crashed it within minutes. Everything broketotal loss.

The reason for the crash was an uncommanded roll which and then nose-dive which I am fairly certain was due to one of the under-wing struts popping loose while I was about 25 feet in the air.

Bottom line is that I think this is probably a great model in most regards. It took off easy, and flew well before the strut came loose.

Be sure to triple-check those struts and all of the other strut connections and maybe even add a little glue before your first flight.

I placed my Rx behind the pilot's seat, and my battery (I used a 3S) just beneath the ESC using a velcro strap. I added the weight provided to the pilot's feet using a zip tie and some glue.

Again, this seemed like it would have been a fun model, but it is not at all crash resistant so keep that in mind when checking everything before your first flight. Also, I don't think there is many spare parts available to buy so if you crash it, you are SOL!

Happy flying!

This plane is COOL!. I have flown it around 15 times on 850's and 500's and it is fun as. It crashes well too :-) . Not to be flown in "windy" conditions but likes a gentle breeze. The landing gear is small so grass will catch the under carriage and put pressure on the framework. It is strong enough for slightly bumpy landings but if you nose dive into the ground it will break easy. It does repair quite well though. I have had 3 hard "landings" but it repairs very well. HK also sell Carbon rods so I advise you buy at least 1 length (1.5mm - 2mm x 750mm) and some spare props. The props hit the main wing to tail support and break fairly easy ; Durafly 310 1100mm replacement Propeller (1pr) (AUS Warehouse) . They do need about 3mm taken out of the centre of the prop to fit the supplied motor but you do get 2, just swap motor wiring ( and -). Overall it is great and quite responsive. A touch underpowered but fun to fly.

I bought 4 of this plane for myself and friend. One pieces of plane the motor stuck, and difficult to rotate. When you rotate the Propeller should be loosen. Please check the esc wire and the shaft not bend.

Absolute rubbish...

Wheels were glued on so didn't spin, engine mount wasn't straight, the engine makes the worst noise I've ever heard in a brushless and didn't survive a crash from 2 feet off the ground. The 'carbon fibre' struts might as well be toothpicks...

Have ripped off all the rubbish struts and will try turning it into a twin boom plane and at least get some value out of the $80 I spent...

Don't but this.
