    The ImmersionRC rapidFIRE 5.8GHz Goggle Module is a high-performance receiver that is compatible with most of the FatShark Dominator and Attitude goggle ranges.

     

    rapidFIRE uses a different method to diversity receivers to provide an exceptional image. It uses sophisticated hardware to digitally reconstruct the images from the two antennas inputs into one image that has no additional latency.

     

    This new design provides the best possible video quality in indoor areas where multipathing is an issue. It is also excellent in outdoor areas where maximum range video is required.

    I bought the module in 2019. Since then it is a super solid workhorse.
    If you want analog, this is the no brainer. I use it with HDO, HDO2 goggles. Best fit and OSD and onscreen menu works best.
    With Skyzone SKY04X the fit in the module bay is mediocre.
    And the onscreen menu is not working.
    I used a 3D-printed module cover found at thingiverse, which did not work.
    There is a new design out, that looks promising: "SkyZone 04x_RapidFIRE_cover
    by GoBoGaLoN January 17, 2022"

    What do I need to say more about the rapidfire receiver module. It’s just the best on the market. I use fatshark altitudes v5, tried furious v4, disappointed as the Pin contact is not good. The original receiver has only half the range as the rapidfire. So as soon as I saw the deal, i just took it. And you should too.
