This tiny BAE Hawk is amazing, EPO foam combined with its featherweight stats means it will be very forgiving of the odd less than 100% landing. The 35mm Fan Unit & ESC are pre-installed as are the aileron and elevator servos, the model comes in 2 pieces so all you have to do when it arrives is attach the vertical stabilizer, hook up the RC equipment to a Reciever that uses Micro Molex 3 Pin conectors, such as the HobbyKing OrangeRX 4 Channel Micro reciever and you are ready to go...... where were we? Ah yes, performing those famous Red Arrows aerobatics in the local park, basketball court, in fact pretty well anywhere, these models are an absolute hoot when flown with friends, in fact get enough of you together and see if you can pull off some of those breathtaking close formation routine's the Red Arrows are famous for!

The box the model arrives in is really handy for not only transporting the model to prevent hanger rash but the spare pockets in the packing foam are ideal for carrying spare Lipolys and you will have so much fun with this, I would carry a few! This Hawk is so cute, even your Wife will like it!

Very nice looking Hawk but needed a few modifications. I run this on 3S 450 gensace lips and a H-King 10a esc. Very nice power but didn't try it on 2s. The Aileron control horns needed some glue and tightening and the cockpit is missing the pilots (lol). It's fun to fly but needs a big hard throw to get it moving

Very cool micro edf. Hand launching takes a bit of practice but a nice firm toss about 45 degrees gets it up ok. Running stock setup and flys well and straight. Orientation is a bit hard at a distance as it's all red. Max throws for elevator as it is very small and set minimum throws on ailerons as it is very responsive and can be very twitchy at full throttle.
Overall a fun, small and great sounding little edf.

Wow I like this T45. I have the red Bae Hawk version, not the white Gosh Hawk scheme. Mine came out of box lovely but had to do sum surgery to get it sweet. I noticed that one of the aelieron servos didn't have tape on it like the elev and other aelieron servo, on closer inspection it is different so I ashume it should be the elev servo and was put in the wrong spot on assembly line. No matter I swapped the right one into aelieron spot and used a turnigy digital 4g servo for elevator after freeing up the rods and running in the epo hinges, much freeier action. I also made little plastic washers for the control rod links to the horns to take out the freeplay. Shortened all the wires and removed some plugs too, but still with a nano tech 2s 350mah my auw (all up weight) is 120g. It shore makes good thrust testing so maiden shortly, then might go 3s setup and try getting auw down a bit more. Too happy can't wait, I have the twin A10 35mm too, it was heavy but flys excellently like a bigger plane.

Very powerfull jet. It's my first one, and I'm in love with it. I fly with my nanotech 300mah or 450 2s lipo.

this little red arrow looks very nice and even has 2 little pilots in it,sadly flight wise it is very under powered on the 2 cell set up and barley has enough thrust to stay airborne, will do rolls but forget loops, also it does not like wind at all and get thrown around but this maybe to do with the lack of power again,3 cell is the only way to go with this if you want it to last

A cute little model. Mine arrived with slightly warped tailplane halves. Easily straightened and strengthened by cutting slots in the underside and inserting some flat carbon strip. Did the same on the wing to prevent flex. Hoping that the extra stiffness will make the model groove better. Fitted a dsm-x 6 CH. Rx and 2s 460 turnigy battery. Had to remove foam in the battery bay to get everything in. Cg was spot on with this set up

Just received my Hawk from UK Warehouse. Please note that it now has NORMAL SIZE type servo plugs and not the Micro Molex type as described above. It also has servo wire extenders, not good in such a small space. The elevator works through snake/wires and the servo does not have enough power to overcome the friction, so I have installed a slightly larger servo. Having got a RX that is compatible with the micro plugs specifically for this model the size of the plugs and extension wires is a major spoiler. The receiver was ordered and included at the same time, no comment from HK, sad really that they make this type of error.

Mine also arrived this morning with standard servo connectors. Lovely looking plane. But don't tell the wife coz I'm not supposed to see it till Christmas :). Could someone tell me if there is supposed to be something under the nose of this plane as mine has a small square slot?
