Batteries tested, complete analysis below

Mar 30, 2017

Testing results

1 pack holds 2050 the other holds 2180 so neither will hold the rated 2250mah.

Actual C ratings were the same for both. 38A constant discharge down to 2080mah then aborted due to 125F heat taken with a thermal gun. 40A caused them to fail the test due to excessive heating however 38A worked fine.

This gives them an actual C rating of 17C.

They were NOT able to perform anywhere near the 40C rating but were able to perform at 17C without puffing. I hope this helps someone out there!

I decided to give these batteries a try as I have seen no reviews here on them and was certainly not disappointed. I bought two just to try in my ST MODEL ACROBAT and was truly impressed at the results. After 6 mins on a 13x6.5 prop, at full throttle for about 4 mins the battery was only warm and I had 29pcnt left on battery. I just ordered two more. Amazing for the price. I wish I could get 5000mah 6S in this brand.

I use these in my F16, they perform well.
But 40C is not real, I have IR and real C measurement device and real C of this lipo is only 16C.

These batterys are much thicker than your usual 2200 4s and will require major excavation if your model has a height restriction. As for performance I was expecting the same incredible punch I get from my Rhino 40c 1850 3s's. Nope, acceleration is not any better than my 25c's. These Rhinos also come down warmer than my regular stock of 2200 4s. All in all I regret the purchase and wish that I had bought Turnigy instead. Time will tell if they have at least some durability. You get what you pay for in general and these are worth $20, just.

Nice size and weight for it's characteristics. Flies very nice in my Durafly D.H.100 Vampire.

Very quick shipping to Europe.

The Battery looks to be of good quality. the Length-A(mm) at 121mm and the Height-B(mm) at 35mm seem to be pretty spot on (side A includes space for the wires at the end). However, Width-C(mm) was listed at 31mm and the batteries I received are around 34.5mm. This is not a huge deal for me as I budgeted some extra space but if you choose a battery for your application that is tight down to the mm this discrepancy could become an issue for you.
