The Rocket Surpass range of brushless motors is precision-made using the latest manufacturing processes. The heatsink can is CNC machined from a solid billet of 6061 T6 aluminum, high-purity copper is used for the windings for improved efficiency, and double-shielded oversized bearings are used for durability. The motor includes sintered neodymium magnets, the stator has super thin (0.2mm) laminations, and the rotor is precision balanced for reliability, and ultra-smooth running at maximum RPMs.
The Rocket Surpass 2826-980KV motor suits sport, scale, and 3D-type models. This robust motor suits LiPo batteries from 2 to 3S, on test with a 3S battery it produced 173 watts of power at 16A, making it a great motor for the smaller models. The motor is supplied with a machined prop adapter, complete with mounting bolts, allowing it to be mounted either way round.
