    The RunCam 3S Action Camera provides superb HD viewing and is a must for FPV fliers. The WDR ensures the best images even when facing into direct sunlight. The 1080p/60fps video combined with a 160-degree wide angle lens provides stimulating viewing and allows for excellent control when FPV flying.

     

    Recording can be achieved due to the microSD slot. If you want to fly FPV then the provided cables allow easy input to your Video Transmitter. The built-in WiFi module allows easy access via phone APP for control and camera setup.

     

    One of the issues with many action cameras is the lack of ability to replace the battery. The RunCam 3S comes with a replaceable battery. So keep a few handy spares and you will never run out of power.

    Very nice colors and quite good picture quality. Noticeable grain on some shots. No stabilisation may be some problem. I still recommend this camera as a budget alternative

    This camera works well strapped to a smooth flying 5” Quadcopter. The color and dynamic range are decent. If you get the 3D printed mounts (Quad Proz are best) you can fly with peace of mind.

    Although on paper the GoPro Session 5 has better specifications this is everybody as good as the now out of production session series cameras.. And for less than $170 AUD ($120 USD) this versatile action camera can be ordered with a spare battery and a rubberised mount. (Battery SKU 9692000060-0. 30° inclination rubber camera mount SKU 926000001-0)
    It's rugged construction, high quality image and small form factor make this a solid performer. Being bright orange is a great touch for those big crashes that inevitably fling your camera away from the frame.
    Overall a great product. I have uploaded a video to give a general impression of the image though it should be noted that the upload was only in 720p due to a slow mobile connection. However it gives a good indication of the colour, sharpness and overall image quality.
