The optimised version of the PZ0420 (NTSC) is one of the most widely used FPV cameras on the market, the Skyplus still has 600TVL resolution and excellent colour rendition. It supports 5 to 17V operating voltage, measures 32 x 33 mm (inc mount) and only weighs 18g making it ideal for FPV or other aerial camera applications.
The big difference is the magnesium alloy casing which is both lighter and stronger than the plastic case. It also offers improved RF shielding and better heat dissipation.
The RunCam Skyplus is great value and as a camera has proven itself reliable and tough. The Skyplus version is now more lightweight, remains very affordable and comes with a bracket and cables ready to install as part of your FPV setup.

Fantastic camera! Reacts very well to light and a great image.
Having the 5-17v range is very nice too because if I do decide to make the jump to 4s then I won't need to step down a load of voltages. The OSD is very intuitive and makes it really nice and easy to get the best settings wherever you are.
This camera is also super light, weighing in at around 18g, it's nice not lugging around one of those heavy metal case onesNice output for any type of FPV great color.very good camera, but the measurements are obviously wrongly stated... the camera chip is 28 mm, but with the casing it's 32, and with the bracket it's 34. This makes a big differenc for me, since the quad I built has 30 mm space for the camera.Very happy with this camera so far, the bracket means it's easy to mount directly strait with the frame and change incline angle at will.
The lens came in focus, there's no excessive view warping like in other cameras with stupidly high FoV lenses.
The casing does actually seem to be working against interference like the description claims, my old camera would get horrible lines over the screen, more intense lines the more power that was going through the motors, this camera however hasn't had that problems in my flight tests so far.
