This little heli is a favourite in the HobbyKing office. It's flawless flying characteristics as well as advance controllability mean that novices can hover and practice figure-eight maneuvers while advance pilots can push the heli through faster and more exciting flying by clicking the D/R stick for full servo throws and speed.
You will not be dissapointed with this little heli. It's got all the functionality of a Fixed Pitch model in a micro sized package.
The transmitter might look a bit funky, but it's actually a well built device that gives precise control of the heli. Unlike other China-Cheap helis, this unit has 2.4Ghz technology and you can bind any number of Heli's to the Tx. The Tx can also be changed from Mode1 to Mode2 very easily.
You will also find the heli to be very robust and able to withstand a great number of crashes. However, should you find the need to replace something, we stock a full range of spares for this heli.

We have tested many helicopters from China and can safely say that this heli is by far the best available in the F.P. Micro heli category. In terms of quality and flying ability it is on par with the Blade mSR.

Purchased a couple and thier not a bad purchase-Never flewn Heli before but have had years on planes. Wouldn't recomend for a first time flyer as they are a bit of a handful even at the novice setting. Landing gear understandbly "light" but very fragile had to purchase extra and added on the order-more batteries and the multi charger. Batterys are lasting 5 minutes plus with ease...

Decent flying little helicopter, major complaint is that maximum trim of forward and rear pitch wasn't enough out of the box and not quite fine enough to cancel all of the left and right pitch.
great deal for the price but may need some tweaking to get it perfect.

Having had this one for less than a day (but quite some flights in already), I can say that I love it already! I'm a planes guy, and decided to get into multirotors. Learning to fly with this thing is quite easy! Crash-resistant (not that I've had extreme crashes.. 1 meter drops at maximum).

The reason to get this one (and not a blade mcpx) is because a friend has it, too, and it's so much cheaper here (nevertheless it is the same). compare $50 to 100.

Now the overal rating is 4 because it has a tail motor. When the voltage drops, this one isn't capable of countering the head-rotor's torque, and the digital trim has too large increments to perfectly trim it out.

Oh yeah; big disappointment was seeing a box with 'solo pro v3' (I got excited), and a v2 is inside... I'll enjoy this for much longer.

In addition to this heli, I recommend getting the OEM batteries, and a separate Nine Eagles charger (saves AA batteries)

Took just over 6 weeks to make the trip from HongKong To Canada. Very happy I was informed within the first week that there would be a delay because of the Lipo Battery regulations-change on shipping. Glad I ordered extra batteries at the outset.
Looks like it may be a very nice craft... but I've encountered a minor set back as I was expecting to fly right away. May suggest that novice to helicopter myself, should have anticipated initial control issues. Have flewn fixed wing for decades but this little fella is going to get some respect from me.
Missed the charger option when I made original purchase order up... will definately get one on next shipment.

I do not know why but the one i received was a complete dud. The right elevator servo at first just locked up, then it did not move, move it moves down but not up. Yes i researched and i found out how to adjust the trim using the sub trim. Now it just spins out of control because the rear motor does not spin. Now i admit that it did crash and it probable it killed it. I fully admit that i killed the rear motor but it was caused by the elevator servo not working. Not easy to fly if it just spins out of control. Quite a disappointment but nonetheless i will buy another 9 because i have the TX 9 eagles

Today arrived home!! (Montevideo, Uruguay)

Bought on 24 April. Excellent micro heli!!! 5 minutes to get ready, and start to fly in my living room.

Only had to change antenna position, (mode 1 to mode 2) took me one minute.

Used to fly coaxial micro helis, and this one is not so easy to control as I thought, but Ill be improving my flying skills.

No problems with shipping, excellent packaging!

An Amazing Heli with amazing price.. Its was my 1st heli when i upgraded my self from co-axial. I learned on it. Made many many crashes with out losing any part. I ordered its spares after 6 month of flying as my friend requested me to give it to him to learn fly. The only back point in this heli is its indoor, and if you want to fly it out door you must need a calm weather with zero blowing breez. If you want to order this heli, please order dozen of batteries and at least 2 landing skids, and LSD batteries for transmitter. Also order battery charge with it as its not suitable to charge battery from transmitter.

What a waste of money......

....was buying loads of spare parts!

This thing is amazing, bullet proof and very stable! After having my fingers burned by precision heli micron v2 I was very worried about buying this but I know that hobby king reviews are genuine so I believed them and what a good thong I did. Its so stable and I've crashed it a few times and sometimes heavy, it just keeps going :-) something I've noticed is that manufacturers are leaning to flexible frames and this does seem pretty flexible. Perhaps this is a sign of things to come?

Do buy this, it's brilliant!

Awesome Micro Heli. Im still very new to Fixed pitch, but within a dozen flights i can now comfortably fly around the kitchen.
Very easy to switch between mode one and two. Very nimble and agile little chopper.

Only suggestion is, is to buy some:
