TURNIGY BESC Programming Card,

Bad, bad, and bad...

Bought 2 and both burned, one in 3 gas pulls, the other one was 5 batteries, both with 6t ScannerRc motor.

I dont recomend this speed controler.

I bench tested this esc with a 2800kv motor with 3s battery. it wasn't right from word go and within 10 min it developed a dead short. It never even made it into a car. It's been over 1 month and HK are still in the process of checking it, therefore i would not advise buying one

I receved mine yesterday, in despite of a lot of negative coments i decided to buy it.
The ESC is not like that photo, is more like this:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/853/20092011003.jpg/
It comes with 14AWG wires, so it is not difficult to doubt if it can really handle 150amps.
I am using it in my pan car 1/10 and scanner 6000kv brushless, it does not warm, probably works on 40C with this combination (17-81 teeth and small diameter tyres)
the fan is powerful, it makes "windy" arround the car. The BEC DOES NOT work at 5 volts, it works at 6 volts, measured by my voltimeter.

BE CAREFUL be sure that the phases are U with A, V with B, and W with C in sensored mode.

IT WORKS SENSORLESS TOO

the instruction manual is very poor, and to program it you'll need the programing card, or actually I didn't find the way to get in the programation with the programming button.

the screws CAN'T touch the fets, someone wrote that, at least in mine it is impossible, it has only 4 to hold the fan holder and the underbox.

I can't tell you more by the moment because it has some minutes of use, by the moment it seems a cheap ESC not too much powerful, and smooth, for 1/10 4x4 touring car it will need 12AWG wires. that is all hope I can help you.

Really not happy with this esc, only ran it a few times, put a 3s thru it and it died. Took the esc out and i shook it because i heard a rattle, one of the drive chips had come off and was rattling around inside the case. Id go for a HK equivalent for the extra couple of quid.
