Brilliant little device! After flying friends had 'lost' their own planes amongst some tall crops in the fires surrounding our site, I purchased a few of these as they are so inexpensive and give me that peace of mind should I be forced to land away from the field. They let out a very loud noise so finding a 'lost' plane should no longer be hard.

Easy to set up and audible from at least 100 yards away and I don't have the best of hearing.

These are fantastic. I put them on all my models as I always end up in the woods. High pitched tone can be heard from a good distance. Plug and play

I have to give it one star because in every configuration I've tried it does not work. I dropped it one crown/star because I could never get the double tone described in the instructions. Then it lost the other crowns/stars because I have not been able to get it to work. It got it's quality crowns because if it did actually work would be good enough to survive regular use & crashes.

I have tried it with both Orange and Spektrum receivers. With both I get the startup beeps but then after about 1 1/2 minutes I get a constant tone no matter what I do. I've tried plugging it into an unused Rx port and into a frequently used one like aileron and still the alarm goes off with no way to silence it without unplugging. Even when constantly moving the control surface into which the alarm is plugged it still alarms and will not silence.

The alarm does sound in about 15 seconds after I turn off the transmitter so that portion seems to work. But no matter what the alarm sounds after 90 seconds and can not be silenced.
