Tries Hard, failed

Sep 24, 2020

On the face of it a brilliant item, especially as our flying field is surrounded by a "jungle" of gorse and other bushes. If you go down off the field its next to impossible to find the plane.
I could NOT make sense of the instructions, it says "turn on the Tx" and then later "now turn on the Tx".
As with lots of products being made in the far east the instructions loose a lot in the translation. A good product that is ruined by poor instructions.

Finding your plane in the flora

Nov 17, 2019

I ordered several of these after losing a plane that had drifted into a taller than 7' corn field. Not much in the way of instructions for this so I played around with some options. For me, connecting it in between the ailerons and the receiver seems to be the way to go as I didn't want to interrupt the ESC connection. Since you use ailerons pretty much constantly you don't run out the signal loss timer in the alarm until you land and taxi.

Not reliable

Nov 04, 2019

Ordered two of these lost plane finders. One worked; one was DOA. The one that did work had lower sound decibels that expected. Low cost item, marginal reliability. Better than nothing. Will look for better option.

Kaufempfehlung

Oct 11, 2019
