Great for correcting painting errors, cleaning parts or turning that average looking alloy part into a trick looking bead-blasted component. It's also a fantastic way to clean corroded parts and clean up stained metals. This gun uses a fine sand and compressed air to gently etch the part.Specification

Muy buena herramienta para limpiar o despintar pequeas piezas,a un precio insuperable, gran calidad y terminacion, gracias HK por poner el hobby a alcance de todos.I've always wanted to purchase the Air Eraser but it was just too expensive for me. Until I found this more economical alternative. It's a great buy. I don't see myself using it alot but I expect it to last awhile if I did. I just hope HK stock up on the sandblasting medium too. Coarser medium are welcome too.Excellent product, found to be of good built qualityWill not find better value for money anywhere else. This is a good sandblasting device for very small objects. It creates a narrow 1-3mm wide spray of sand. I used it on a rusty object and easily removed 1mm thick iron rust. I am going to try a little thicker sand and backing soda.
Nice bead blasting gun!use it with glass micro ballons (not hollow), it goes fine with aluminumHave just received this little wonder and its a very handy piece of equipment to have and you just cannot beat the price! The build quality is very good and the supplied aluminium oxide works very well, but aluminium oxide give a darker grey finish than other abrasive mediums.
The other problem is what happens when you run out of the aluminiun oxide.
I have 25 kg's of glass beads for my shop bead blaster, but the particle size isn't small enough and the jet gets blocked after only a few seconds of use.
Aluminium oxide give quite a dull finish compared to glass beads and it would have been nice if the beads had worked too.
I may make a new jet with a slightly larger hole and see it that works better.
It's so much handier than loading the shop one.
I haven't tried baking soada, can't see it having much cut action, but will give it a go.
For $20 you get excellent value. Nice hoses and a decent amount of abrasive.
What would be nice is to be able to buy refill abrasive.
I can't believe what $20 can buy at Hobby King ,& i been a r c retailers for 2 yrs!.shame on me.down the street at the art store (Vancouver)they want 5 times more money for a lesser quality air brush-YES. i used it as an air brush too-works awesome.its even have a safety value so it won't blow up at your face in case you have a faulty compressor-highly recommended
