Best décharger ever!

Need to quickly getting your batteries to a storage voltage? Look no further.
In a few minutes your batteries are back to acceptable voltage. You can go as high as 20 amps. I even don´t need that. Its a good wonderful musthave if you us lipo´s. While looking at the news on tv, My complete unused loaded ser of batteries are back in a state for storage. One remark: it does not balance your cells. No worries, next time you charge them again with a balancing charger.

I use this product to discharge charged LiPo batteries that didn’t get used, and put them into storage mode. It works well for this purpose, and is very helpful in battery maintenance.

Nach Entladen des Akkus kann man sich Kapazität ca. 10 Minuten ansehen, danach schaltet das Gerät ab und die Kapazitätsangabe ist gelöscht.

Good product with an important defect

Let's start by saying that I really like this discharger. It is, by far, the most powerful discharger I have. But it has a problem, though: If I'm going to store, let's say, a 3S battery, I set the target storage voltage to 11.4 V (3.8 V x 3 cells) and the discharge current to 18 A (well within the 250 Watt limit)... but the discharger stops at 11.9 V!!! half a Volt over the intended target!!!.
It seems that the problem is with the voltage sag of the battery when a high current is drawn, and therefore I should instead set the target voltage to something slightly below 11 V in order to get the intended 11.4 V target. However, this shouldn't happen: This thing has for sure a microprocessor inside and it would be very easy for SkyRC to devise an algorithm to compensate for voltage sag, especially taking into account the previous experience of this company with the BD200 model. An almost unforgivable fault.

J'apprécie les réglages et le simplicité de la mise en œuvre. Cela peut servir à tester les batteries mais aussi les bec. Donc très utile et un très bon rapport qualité prix.

A Must have for LiPo users

It works flawlessly. PC Analyzer software is a good option to get check old battery condition and charge hold. For discharging very simple to use and very fast even for large LiPO-s for RC Cars. A must have in my opinion.
The only annoying thing is the beeper is super loud. A simple electric tape on top of it solution fixes this ;-)

Not working properly

When I tried to plug in 2200 mAh battery, only three digits showed, and it showed finished almost immediately, but it wasn’t discharged. Either I am using it incorrectly, or the unit is defective. I tried to get an exchange from HK, but was unable to exchange this Christmas present. I don’t understand the HK procedure to exchange. I also tried to email the company for further instructions, but got no reply. Very disappointed. Very bad experience, and lost money.

HK response: We are sorry to see this. We answer EVERY request so if you sent an email it went to the wrong place. We always encourage using our official support. There is a pending claim for this item and we've requested that it be returned for evaluation. Customer will receive full replacement, refund or credit as they prefer so no money will have been lost.

A good device to get to know the condition off your battery .

Works very well ,instal the PC software and off you go .There is a firmware update available but it is not possible to download it ,Pc security software is preventing the update .
