This plane is fun to fly and made of good quality foam. My lower star rating is because it is not a beginer plane. It is slow to respond to aleron movements and this majes control more difficult for beginers to recover. Plus ours had the esc burn up after 10 flights when we plugged up the battery one morning. Didn't even fly that day. Replacement if 30 dollars since servos for elevator rudder and the esc and rec are all in one. Fun to fly and easy to transport in car.

this plane is easy to construct, a couple of things you have to fiddle with but it is fixed with a bit of glue. the manual is poorly written, the amount of grammar mistakes is frustrating, although it does not have a direct effect of it. i highly recommend learning on a sim before flying for your first tiem, as i made this mistake. this was the first plane i ever flew, crashed many many times. aileron servo cables snapped, prop wouldnt stay on, and a couple of bits (eg nose) snapped. prop and nose fixed with glue, but have to buy a new servo :( point of warning: where it says in the description ":high strength magnets", that is wrong. The magnets are terrible. every crash, even landings saw the canopy and wings fall off. annoying as this leaves plane open for damage. all in all, good plane, would recommend it to more experienced pilots, but still a fun little plane.

i dont mean to be the bearer of bad news but this plane was not a good plane at all! the best it has done for me in its short life was teach me a little more how to fly an RC. the propeller came off on the first flight and on the third crash (second flight) it hit the grass and the fuselage broke off! i would not recommend this unless you know how to fly it. bad beginner plane.

DOA. One of the 3 wires connecting the Wing Receiver Set to the power coupling was broken out of the box (yellow wire).

Customer service is non-existent.

My first 4 channel as well. Great beginner plane! Been running this thing almost daily for the last couple of weeks and it just keeps flying.
Only issues that I have is the motor stopped on me for a bit (thinking possible dirt is a brush) and the ailerons are kind of glitchy and twitchy.
Overall, I would recommend this to anybody wanting to get into planes or even wants a fun little basher.

I bought the RTF version and one of the servos on the board was bad. I then removed my electronics from my UMX Beast and fly it with a brushless motor. That being said, the original motor has plenty of power. However I was never able to fly it on the stock set. I love the flight Characteristics and it is very responsive and docile. I have thermaled it in light lift and 45 minute flights are easy to make. Additionally, I am using the supplied battery and it is working great! I like the plane and I am glad that I was able to make it work. I would buy the Kit version as the electronics suck.

This little plane fly's great. It will clime like a home sick bird and just want's to stay in the air. I have had flights up to 30 min's at a time. This plane is easy to fly and very forgiving . Only one thing bad if the prop comes off and you can not find it as I did the replacement props have to come from overseas and it takes a few weeks to get. Wish they had them in stock here in the USA. But I know they can not stock everything but maybe they will soon I hope.

I helped a mate get one of these in the air today. He had only taken it out of the box, but not done any assembly. Very little was needed to be done to get it flying. I adjusted the clevis on the rudder to make it straight, while the elevator and ailerons were perfect out of the box. The stock battery puffed when being charged... Good thing we had 6x350mAh 2s batteries on hand!

At first I thought the rudder servo was stuffed, but on 'advanced' (high rates) it moved a little. The plane launched like a dream, had plenty of power and the rudder actually worked pretty well in spite of not moving much! The ailerons don't provide much roll, but steer the plane OK. For tighter turns, coordinate the elevator with the ailerons.

All up this is a really good beginner package. The box is really good for carrying the thing around too. Shame about the battery, but really impressed with the rest of the package.

This is a superb little glider for calm days. The brushed motor is more than powerfull enough and it glides really well. The servos are quite noisy, but do the job. Im not a fan of the ergonomics of the tx, but its not a big issue. All in all I think this little glider is a fantastic value.
