I feel like most of these reviews jumped the gun as in had them for a few days and posted a review. I've had these since they came out in Feb its now april.
They have issues - IPD adjusters just flop around. Seriously, they don't stay put. The range on these things is terrible. If you take your old skyzone goggles with the exact same equipment, you get close to double the range. There are numerous threads all over the internet of people posting the exact same problems, so its not like I got a dud.

However, they are still more comfortable on my face then the old goggles. The DVR function is great, since its one less camera to carry. The menu system on the goggles is good too, a bit odd to get used to, but frequency selection is so much better now with a menu then the old beep system of previous goggles.
In short, Im stuck with these things - 3d is cool, but the range on the 3d transmitter is horrible, swapping in a 400mw and now a 600mw 2d system and I'm still getting crappy range and thats with bluebeam ultras a helical. I still wear them for close racing around the park on my small quad. However, I thought the range would have been better or the same as the old goggles.

This is a great product just as expected from Skyzone have had these for a while now and these being my first fpv goggles I was not disappointed it took a bit to learn how to navigate the menu but otherwise no problem. The 3D is pretty cool but I can't really use on my mini quads so I put it on my FT Guinea and it is fun to fly in 3D. It would have been nice to buy just the goggles to save a little but for me this wasn't a deal breaker besides they may even do that later on.

I owned the previous diversity Sky zones and I felt they where missing a few things. Not even looking at the 3D part of these goggles there fantastic. The following things I felt where missing from the previous version and are in this one. DVR, easy to use. OSD. More import now with DVR and knowing what is recording. Battery monitor on OSD, I use little 800/1000mHa batteries on the goggle strap, good for about an hour. I killed a few on my old goggles because I thought there where more charged. Useful front facing camera, the previous wide angle that made it very hard to work with your hands while looking through the goggles. This camera is a lower FOV and makes working with your hands easy (plugin in battery, picking up TX, even reading the radio LCD screen). Optics seems better on these, I might be getting caught up in the hype but they really do seem clearer. It's easy to see what channel you are on and easy to change when in 2D (diversity). 3D is still a novelty and will be till the 3D camera/vTx can be purchased on it's own. Remember in 3D you are using 2 FPV channels and will not be making friends at the local FPV club if you are using 2 channels when every one else is using one. I think the 3D Camera/vTx is adding a lot of extra cost most of sue are not buying these for, would be nice to see a goggle only package without the 3D camera/vTx
