Worked for about an hour then the input power transistor burned up. I had it connected to a 3S Lipo so voltage was well within spec range. Upon further investigation I'm finding many others having the same exact problem: the power transistor burns up. This looks like a defective design.

terrible range. went from a 1000mw boscam getting further than my FR SKy readio would reache, to this for a smaller quad tried many different channels still 100 yards is all I feel safe with. same antennas as were on my boscam rig so only change was this.

I have the Quanum goggle set which I first used with the FPV Vapor indoor airplane with the 25mw VTX. Quite an experience flying in a big dome. Some interference for the low power in this high electronics background noise. Then I put this 200mw VTX on a Stratos and flew outdoors at the club field. What a great view. 99pcnt noise free. I am using the twisty antenna.
Works with a 2s battery.
There is one problem, As reported by others, the cable plugs into a receptacle that is not secured to the printed circuit board as strong as it should be. Add thin CA or some adhesive to keep it from breaking loose. If it breaks free it ruins the anchoring lands it is soldered to.

It is kind of simple but I did realize that the JST connector didn't have a red cable for power, positive and negative were both black so I was confused about soldering. Otherwise its pretty good for its price
