Works as expected on an old RC

Works as expected on an old RC10T2 truck. Replaced the brushed motor with this one. I also purchased a 120A Speed Controller for it. Pretty slow on 2S. Will try 3S and see how it performs. Motor can handle 4s but speed controller only good for 3S. Running very cool with 17/87 Gearing.

No issues runs great.
Just posting this review as I see stefan can't get it working. no idea why he's on a 40A esc.. for a motor like this you'll be wanting a big one. I run a 120A esc with this motor and have pushed it hard (over its current rating). No issues yet. Be aware though, if you do get water into the motor there is bare metal (winding cores) in there that can start to corrode.

Simply not working

I searched for a simple and cheap way to get rid of my combustion motor in my REELY Car. Sadly this motor does not want to run with any controller i got.
For example a Hobbyking ubec 40A.
The Problem seems to be the Fact that the inductivity of the motor is more or less zero.
We tried another controller and the motor turned but loses sync at a few hundred rpm.
only way we got it running whith a small controller was to use small spules as inductivity. but this was just a test and inside a rc model there is simply not the space for spules that can hold 40 or more Amps.
The other sad thing is that i am not able to find any further information about this motor on the internet
