Spektrum DSM2 DX7 Kit Helicopter (Mode 2)(THROTTLE ON THE LEFT)
With the DX7 youll be able to fly anything from micro electric helis, to big gas-powered IMAC planes without regard to frequencies and free from fear of interference. Calling this kind of thing revolutionary just doesnt cut it. It is nothing less than a quantum leap in RC technology that will change how you fly forever. Never again will the availability of a frequency pin dictate when you can take off. Never again will you have to ask, What channel are you on? Never again will your flying experience be interrupted by model-generated RF noise, interference from commercial broadcast towers, or anyone on another RC system.

Transmitter works great!! Unfortunately you don't get battteries for the Tx.It is set up for dry cell batteries, but you can change the battery to a 3s 750mah Rhino lipoly as long as you add diodes to reduce the voltage. A very simple but operational R/C unit.It has responded well at a 200meter distance

This tx is mine, and for a long time.

I use since 2007, without any fail safe situation. The tx range is higher than my eyes' range, it has a graphical view for pitch and throttle curves, and it's not the tx which is associated with the rx, it's the model which is associated with the rx. You CAN'T be on a wrong program !!

Receivers are half the price of Futaba one

Spektrum, what else?

This is my first higher end transmitter. The radio is great, it's a bit tough to program the first few models, but you pick it up easy enough. I like being able to set up dual modes with different expo rates for different styles of flying. The servos are good, haven't stripped one yet. I use the 6100 receiver in all my fliers. Over all a great package.

Great system and good value, but be advised that the charger supplied is a 110V version. it is NOT 110-220V dual voltage. Not much use unless you live in the USA. 220V chargers are available from EBAY or your nearest Spektrum dealer. At the price HobbyKing charge, it's still good value, but a little disappointing.
