Crashed on it's first flight! Damage was so bad that the cost of repair wasn't worth the hassle. NE designed this all out of foam so its a pain to even attempt to repair. First time I have ever had negative experience with a product from HK!

Very nice plane i have not used it yet. But it seems to be a bit front heavy with the larger battery. I will see if this will become a problem in the future

This Plane just Sucks, out of the box it is not balanced or tested, most have servo failures and are just crap. I bought this for my grandson to learn on, but I learned it was just plain chit/CRAP

The Spitfire Ultra Micro 4CH is a very nice plane, it came in a very nicely molded box so nothing was damaged. The box itself had a couple of small nicks from transport but the plane was 100pcnt. One thing the one landing gear clamp was a little loose so I re stick, now it's 100pcnt another thing was the Rudder wasn't moving to it full motion, thinking something was wrong I opened it to find it was just the cable of the ailerons rubbing on the link so it couldn't move so I just nudged it a side and 100pcnt the rest was top notch.

I have this plane along with a P-51 and I must admit that the Spitfire is not as stable as the P-51. This plane will do loops fine even with winds up to 8 kph. But it does not do nice rolls. The rudder is useless wich is a shame. But it's alot of fun to fly anyway.

You get what you pay for.

It's not built with top quality in mind but it does the job. The servos are a bit slow to react, all nine eagles planes have the same servos. they could be faster and have more torque. It takes about 2 seconds to travel form one end to the other.

If you break something and would like to replace the part with a new one you must be aware the the results will not be as satisfactory as one would expect because you will have to cut some pieces of foam to have an almost perfect fit. You won't get a perfect fit. I have replace the front wing (cellule) and it was a bit hard to put the push rod onto the wing horn as the whole was not large enough. I also had to cut a bit of foam to place the servo in the right place. The pushrods don't have any adjustable turnbuckles so that you can play with the lenght.

Overall it's a good product and you will have fun with it but be aware that there is other model from Nine Eagles that are more stable and more fun to fly.

I would recommend the P-51 more than the Spitfire for it's flight stability.

When I first received this plane it had some issues. The servo controlling the rudder on mine was totally glitchy, but the other servos worked great. The rudder servo (on mine) is always making noise and can be twitchy. Many times the rudder can get jammed in one direction. One of these times it cause my plane to crash hard. The Spitfire's wing was barely hanging on to the plane. First thing I did was take apart the plane and disconnect the rod from the rudder and rudder servo. Then I taped the rudder so it wouldn't be flimsy. Then used 5 min. epoxy to glue wing on- that worked well. After that I reinforced the wings and tail with scotch tape (which I recommend doing before flying the plane!). This plane turns well using only ailerons (lucky for me!). Once you get all of the problems fixed the plane flies great!! Can do many tricks and very fun to fly!! Surprisingly, it can fly very slow with low throttle! One 150 mah battery lasts 6-8 mins. The 9 eagles 150 mah spare batteries need to be sanded to fit better, or will not work properly. The plane can't withstand nasty crashes, but is easily fixed. The remote has really good range, shows battery power, trim, throttle, mode 1 & 2. This agile warbird is well worth the price! I love it!!
