Great replacement for original 32p spur gear. It should be better if there are many different teeth options for the SCT for changing transmission ratio.

I bougth 3 replacement for my turnigy 2wd 1/10 and im so disappointed, this spur gear with 82T doesnt fit with the original motor gear 13T. Why theres not a spur gear in his sapare parts area that fits with the original motor gear of 13T, why not?? Can somebody help me? What motor gear should i bougth to fit wih the 82T spur gear?

This part is the weak link in an otherwise great value for money car. Buy a pack of Oreo cookies instead of this part and watch them strip as fast. At least you can eat them once they are done. I use one of these gears with almost every battery pack. Now the screws that hold the housing for this part are worn and the housing keeps falling off. As a result my car is in the spare parts box - but I'm hoping to hear from someone who has had similar problems and has a SOLUTION. Like maybe puling out the diff of the car and putting an entirely new drive train in. I wonder what would fit - just drop in like. Otherwise just buy the 4x4 Trooper 'cos it's awesome and not much more expensive. All metal gears. Happy thrashing to you all.

Cheap part, so one star. They have to be replaced almost as often as a battery needs to be recharged. This is a weak link, which some say is a good thing, but there are other cars with metal spur gears available. If you buy the 2wd SCT you need to buy MANY of these. And take tools to the field 'cos while your mates are racing their cars you're replacing spur gears. HK ought to discontinue this car until there is more robust spur gear available.
